I went to dinner with my boyfriend on a Friday night, trying to find a hidden gem in Pointe Claire close to the lake & we
end up to this place.
Pros:
Small place & very intimate.
We liked that the chef comes & brings the food on your table when they serve it.
The kitchen is just behind the bar & you could watch the chef while they cook your food.
Cons:
We find that the main courses were lacking of taste & portion were too small for its price. The grilled octopus was over cooked & missing some spices. The rotolo tastes better although my boyfriend finds the sauce a bit bitter. Also, there was no salt & pepper either on the table or offered. Our server forgot the water when she told us that she'll give it after serving our cocktail drinks but we understand that she's alone serving for everybody in the restaurant. The strawberry spritz cocktail was too bitter for me.
We would love to recommend the restaurant but I think it needs more improvement of the food & service.View more

We had a delightful experience at Rendez vous, seated at the bar in this charming, intimate space that blends trendy & vintage vibes. Perfect for dates or gatherings with friends. The menu offered unique flavors, including the mackerel, Celeriac Carpaccio, Saganaki & focaccia Burrata , all of which were delicious. For my main I ordered the beef cheek which was equally impressive.
Our waitress was new & was incredibly sweet & kind adding to the warm atmosphere of this cozy.View more

Everything was so good. I had the burrata with house focaccia, the grilled broccoli, & the delicata squash (10/10). I loved the open kitchen concept by the bar so you can watch the chefs cook! Tried Rendez-Vous tonight & it was FAB!!! I'm so excited to have a downtown wine bar vibe resto into the Pointe Claire Village. Food was excellent, great wine menu & fantastic service! Can't wait to go back!View more
