Rendez-Vous is frequently celebrated as a cozy, intimate gem known for its exceptional and flavorful cuisine, particularly the fresh pastas, focaccia, and rotating seasonal menus. Visitors often praise the warm atmosphere, beautiful decor, and attentive, friendly service that makes for a welcoming dining experience. While many guests describe the food as outstanding and the vibe as perfect for dates or small gatherings, some feedback highlights inconsistencies regarding portion sizes, occasional service delays when busy, and concerns about noise levels or specific dish preparation. Overall, the restaurant is widely regarded as a standout destination that delivers high-quality ingredients and a unique charm, encouraging many patrons to return despite minor areas suggested for improvement.
Absolutely terrific, gorgeous decor, sublime ambiance & exceptional food. This is the real deal. Tried the new spring menu & it blew my socks off. Focaccia bread to start paired with a tuna crudo. Flavour balance was achieved & dipping the bread in the oil from the crudo was the cherry on top. Golden beet salad was splendid. Onglet with pommes frites delivered, the kitchen did a terrific job. 100% will be coming back. This place is the truth !! olive oil cake was out of this world. unbelievable service. this restaurant is wicked neat.
Pros: great service, attentive but not overbearing, & delicious food
Cons: my friend & I shared an appetizer & each ordered a main course, & I left hungry. My fish was very good, but there was very little to eat with it, just a tiny swirl of vegetables & 3 minuscule halves of baby potato. When I requested bread, I was told that the restaurant only had focaccia (at a cost). Foccacia be nice, of course, but it's hardly a bread to eat as an accompaniment to a rich dinner.
Pros: Pointe Claire Village is sweet on a spring day!
Cons: the noise level was unbearable. My friend & I were leaning across the table, trying to hear each other. We left without dessert.
Excellent food, well worth the visit.
It is a very intimate restaurant with only a couple of tables & some seats at the bar.
The service was great, there when you need them but not overbearing.
I had the focaccia, burrata & cavatelli in a white ragu sauce. I would recommend them all. The ragu was a 10/10. The dessert was also good- an olive oil cake with mascarpone whipped topping. It was very good- just not my favourite kind of dessert & it was the only choice.
I would highly recommend this restaurant & will be going back.

What a gem in Pointe-Claire village! We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious pasta dishes, salads & focaccias! The wine selection was lovely, our server did a great job explaining & recommending them to us. Will absolutely go back again!
Delicious food & beautiful decor! I had the focaccia, the tuna crudo & the gnocchi with burrata. 🤤I was too busy enjoying the food to even take picture!
Run don't walk to this quaint little spot that offers quality & fresh ingredient menu choices that are absolutely delicious . Hans was absolutely amazing & helped us chose the perfect cocktails & menu .
We had the summer salad & it was perfectly dressed & the fresh focaccia . Followed by the bucatini with shrimp & the grilled octopus was perfect .
What a surprise to have such quality food in the west island !!! Bravo 👏
We will def be back .
This was our first visit to Rendez-Vous, & what a beautiful surprise it turned out to be. I had originally called to book a table at their sister restaurant, Lou's, which was fully booked. The owner kindly suggested we try Rendez-Vous instead-& I'm so glad we did.
After making the reservation, I looked up the menu online & was disappointed to see there wasn't much that suited my dietary restrictions. I called back to cancel, explaining the situation. That's when I spoke to Jono (hope I'm spelling that right!), & his response left such an impression. He simply said,'Come in-we'll make something for you.' That kind of hospitality is rare, & it convinced me to keep the reservation.
When we arrived, we checked again if Lou's had any availability (still full), so we made our way to Rendez-Vous, where we were greeted by Lenny, a warm & bubbly hostess who instantly made us feel at home. The space is intimate-only about 20 seats-so it's cozy, quiet, & perfect for a relaxing dinner.
We started with the salads & the house focaccia, both fresh & delicious. My husband had the seabass for his main, which he really enjoyed-cooked perfectly with great flavors. I, on the other hand, had no idea what I was getting, since the chef had crafted something special just for me. & wow-what a dish! Tender chicken in a rich, flavorful sauce, served with a refreshing celery, cucumber, & apple salad. It was light, vibrant, & absolutely perfect for my palate. A total win.
From the first phone call to the last bite, the service at Rendez-Vous was impeccable. They went above & beyond to accommodate me & did it with such kindness & grace.
If you're looking for an intimate spot with thoughtful service & exceptional food, Rendez-Vous is it. Just make sure to book in advance-seating is limited, & it's a place worth discovering.
We had a delightful experience at Rendez vous, seated at the bar in this charming, intimate space that blends trendy & vintage vibes. Perfect for dates or gatherings with friends. The menu offered unique flavors, including the mackerel, Celeriac Carpaccio, Saganaki & focaccia Burrata , all of which were delicious. For my main I ordered the beef cheek which was equally impressive.
Our waitress was new & was incredibly sweet & kind adding to the warm atmosphere of this cozy.
super cozy & intimate restaurant with trendy vibes. the inside is quite small, bug still very nice. the food was SO good. we trued the squash, broccoli, focaccia, & pork & everything was excellent. the drinks were also good. the only thing i would change was the portions being a bit bigger for food & drinks. staff was very friendly & efficient .
