Had Paneer Kohalapuri & Butter Naan. Paneer was soft & tender with right amount of spice in it. Naans were also very soft. Would definitely recommend trying & service too was very good!

Wonderful food & dedicated polite service. They have very different & unique dishes prepared with care & subtlety. I had a paneer dish in a cashew cream sauce with methi that was out of this world! Superb! & fried fish appetizer that was light & delicious. Great mango almond Lassi. Will definitely return!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rendez-Vous Bistro, & I must say, it was an outstanding experience! If you're a fan of Indian cuisine, this place is a must-visit.
Food
The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the Paneer Kolhapuri. It was simply out of this world-perfectly spiced & bursting with flavor. The paneer was incredibly fresh, & the sauce had the right amount of heat, making every bite a delight.
Beyond the Paneer Kolhapuri, the rest of the menu offered a variety of traditional Indian dishes that were equally impressive. Each dish was crafted with care, showcasing the rich flavors & aromas that Indian food is known for.
Atmosphere
The ambiance of the bistro is cozy & welcoming, making it a great spot for both casual dining & special occasions. The decor adds a nice touch, enhancing the overall dining experience.
Service
The service was attentive without being intrusive. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations that complemented our meal perfectly.
Overall, Rendez-Vous Bistro is a gem for anyone who loves Indian cuisine. With its delicious food, inviting atmosphere, & excellent service, I can't recommend it enough. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
The food was really tasty & the service was really great. Shaurya welcomed us & was very helpful. We had paneer kolhapuri & it's a must to try !! It was very delicious. Overall it was pleasant experience with the good ambience.
Recently we had visited the restaurant for dinner after hearing & seeing the reviews stating,must visit restaurant in Montreal. we had ordered Butter & Garlic Naan,Paneer Lababdar & Rajasthani Jungli mass.The curries were not that spicy,if you are a person who loves spicy food I would recommend to mention the spice level required.At the end we received complimentary gulab jamoon which was too good,highly recommend to go for it.Overall it was a good visit for dinner.
Food: delicious! We tried dahi ke kebab & tandoori paneer as appetizers, both fresh & tender. Mains were dal makhni, achari baingan & nalli rogan josh which were quite good.
Service: felt pretty rushed. Five minutes after we sat down, we were asked if were ready to order. Our appetizers were half way done & another server almost took our plates & then asked if we were done. During the payment, the same server brought us a machine to pay with but no bill. We asked for the bill & he said they don't usually give it, which was very strange. The same server's hygiene level was questionable, his nails were long & filthy! A restaurant is definitely not the place for him. The other servers were very kind… & clean!
Conclusion: I might, just might go back for the food but that one particular server did put us off.

We had dinner & lunch here on 2 consecutive days. paneer is soft unlike rest of the restaursnts around montreal. Paneer was very delicious. But then the next day we had non veg thali. Thali had 25 dishes & they allowed us to share. Amazing thali & all dishes were well thought, planned & prepared. Chef really worked hard to prepare it. Pls see photo attached. They can improve upon wine sangria. Food is really nice. One of the best Indian food in montreal. They don't update online about there closing hours. So be careful
We had an amazing experience at Rendez-Vous Indian Bistro! We ordered online through Uber Eats. Their butter chicken & paneer recipe without onion & garlic were absolutely delicious. The flavors were incredible, & the owner went the extra mile to accommodate our dietary preferences by preparing the paneer dish perfectly. As a delightful surprise, they even complimented the meal with rasmalai, which was the cherry on top! The food was so tasty, & the attention to detail made the experience even better. This is hands down the best Indian cuisine restaurant in Montreal. A must-try for all Indian food lovers! Highly recommend!
I was on my way back from Quebec, craving Indian food, & boi! I had a delicious lunch!! The garlic naan with Paneer Lababdar is absolutely recommended, along with their Gulab jamuns. Not to forget Parikram (server) was taking superb care of guests around.
I am so happy to have found this place. The food is so delicious & the presentation of the dishes is very well done. We were delighted from beginning to end! Can't wait to come here again & try other dishes. My spouse had the Butter Chicken & he kept saying the chicken itself was very good (a lot of places use only chicken breast). I am vegetarian myself so I asked for a recommendation & got the Paneer Methi Chaman, can't emphasize enough how delicious it was!

Best Indian restaurant in Montreal, very near to downtown. Best restaurant for Canadians too, who like to try Indian food, as they prepare all the dishes Indian style & also with canadian spice level. My personal favourite is Paneer Lababdar. All their cocktails & mocktails are nice. Friendly staff & pricing is economical.
one of the best butter chicken I've ever eaten! the sauce was really excellent. The only thing I liked a little less was the chicken, since I found it very hard to chew (i feel like it's not even chicken, maybe pork? bc it's was extremely hard). The waitress was very polite & kind. The chef even came to see us to ask for our opinion. update: i've tried the paneer lababdar & it's was so good! honestly a must try however it's would be great to lower the music a bit bc it's sometimes difficult to hea

I went there with my friends & I tried Dal Makhni with Garlic naan, Dahi kebab, Sofiyana paneer, chaat paapdi. Ambience was great. Every single dish was among one of the best Indian dishes I have tried in Canada. Coming from New Delhi I can confidently say that everything was authentic. The chef is very humble & passionate for his work. I had a long conversation with him about his process. 10/10

This was my fifth visit to Rendez-vous Bistro, & it never disappoints! I first visited when it had just opened for an office party with over 20 people. Despite the restaurant being on the smaller side, it didn't feel cramped at all, & the staff handled the large group with ease & dedication. As a non-vegetarian, I have tried almost all of their non-veg starters, & each one has been out of this world! The flavors are simply exquisite. From the mains, dishes like goat curry, butter chicken, & palak chicken have consistently stood out - perfectly spiced & absolutely delicious. This time, I went with a few vegetarian friends & sampled most of their veg options. The dahi kebab & veg manchurian starters were just amazing, & in the mains, the brinjal curry & paneer butter masala were mouth-watering. The balance of flavors was spot on. The wait staff, as always, were extremely accommodating & attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. This is a must-visit place for Indian food lovers, & I will definitely be returning for more!
Amazing amazing indian restaurant (I've tasted a lot & this is among my top 3 in Montreal). It's a perfect spot for dates but also a night out with friends & family. You can modify the level of spiciness to full enjoy the beautiful aroma of each dishes. I LOVE the paneer dishes & their naans. If you love mutton, go with this dish : kashmiri mutton rista. If you love chicken, go with this dish : tangri kebab & dum chicken biryani.
Visited Rendez-vous bistro on the labour day weekend upon seeing good rating & reviews & the restaurant staff justified the rating by ensuring that we got great service & food. Tried Chicken tikka masala (spot on taste), Paneer lababdaar (bit sweet for our taste), garlic nan (superb!), chicken biryani (a bit above average) & paan kulfi (good taste). Loved the experience, thank you staff/owners.
I went there for my birthday dinner. Order pesto paneer tikka which was ok but paneer was soft. Dahi ke kebab had burnt taste. & liked paneer lababdar. Decent place
