Amazing food & great service! We ordered the Tulsi Paneer Tikka, Dahi ke kebab, Paneer Lababdar, & Dal Makhani. Everything was cooked to perfection, especially the Garlic Naan. If you're looking for authentic Indian flavors, this is the place to go!

Manchurian veg was on point, butter chicken is not ordinary & is still full of flavor, the must try dish imho is the laal Maas, full of unique flavor & with the right amount of spice (hotter the butter chicken of course).
Tried the laal maas curry & it was amazing! You really don't find this dish a lot in Canada, so I was excited to see it on the menu. Did not disappoint - the flavors were incredible & everything was cooked perfectly. Definitely coming back for this again.
Flavorful dishes & accommodating staff. A few dishes were a bit on the sweeter side, but overall, we had a pleasant meal & would recommend this place. Personal favourites- Manchurian, fish amritsari, murgh methi malai.
Being an Indian & a foodie, I am always looking for authentic Indian restaurants, & this one definitely made it to one of my favs. I was surprised to see dishes like Laal Maas & Gatta Curry on the menu!!! Kudos to the owner for the bold move of adding authentic Rajasthani cuisine in the menu!
I ordered
dahi kebab = soft inside, crispy outside, perfect chutneys on the side. Melts in the mouth!
Basil Chicken tikka= soft & juicy with the perfect blend of basil & spices.
Laal Maas= Indian level spicy so be careful! If you can handle the heat you need to try this dish! Will definitely go back for it!
Panner methi churma = rich sauce, soft paneer, perfect amount of methi!
Paan kulfi = MUST TRY!!!! This made me nostalgic & brought me back to India! The flavors of meetha paan are perfect in this kulfi!!!
I've visited Rendez-vous Bistro twice now, & both times the experience has been excellent. The food, presentation, & service all stand out. The Bhatti ka Murg & Dahi ke kebab were absolutely amazing - full of flavor & perfectly cooked, definitely must-try starters. The Garlic Naan paired really well with both Murg Rajputana & Chicken Tikka Masala, which were rich, flavorful, & authentic.
The ambiance is cozy yet refined, & the staff are attentive without being intrusive. One thing to note - if you request Indian spicy, be prepared! They take spice levels seriously, & it can get genuinely spicy 🌶🌶🌶, so order accordingly.
I'm already planning to go back soon - the Thali is next on my list. Highly recommend this place if you're craving well-made Indian food in Montreal.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Rendez Vous Bistro! Right from the moment I walked in, the way they greeted me was exceptional - truly a real Maharaja-style service that made me feel valued & welcomed.
For starters, I tried the dahi kebab, which was perfectly crisp on the outside & soft, flavorful inside. For the main course, I ordered paneer kolhapuri along with turbo naan, garlic naan, & lachha paratha-each one was fresh, soft, & paired beautifully with the rich, spicy curry. To complement the meal, the mango lassi was refreshing & absolutely delightful.
Everything I ordered was simply awesome, both in taste & presentation. The service throughout was top-notch; the staff was attentive, polite, & went above & beyond to make the dining experience memorable.
Overall, Rendez Vous Bistro is a gem! Exceptional hospitality, amazing food, & the kind of service that keeps you coming back. Highly recommended!
From appetizers to desserts, everything was absolutely amazing! The highlight of the night was definitely the Pista Kulfi - so refreshing & delicious. A big shoutout to Shaurya for the outstanding service - super friendly, welcoming, & spot-on with recommendations. He made our dining experience even more special. What a delightful experience! The food was absolutely delicious, with refined flavors that show real culinary skill. The service was warm, courteous, & wonderfully efficient, making us feel truly welcome. A gem of a place that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience.
Best Indian Restaurant in Montreal - A True Royal Rendezvous!
Hands down, Rendez-vous Bistro is the best Indian restaurant I've experienced in Montreal & possibly in all of Canada. The moment I stepped in, I could feel something special about the place. What I didn't expect was that the chef & owner hails from the royal family of Bilaspur, Rajasthan, the very same state where I was born. It was like a beautiful cultural connection unfolding on my plate.
& here's the twist: the server had the same name as me! Shaurya was absolutely phenomenal, guiding me through the menu like a true connoisseur.
I ordered a LOT & loved all of these:
Dahi ke Kebab - unlike any I've had before; crisp outside, melt-in-your-mouth inside.
Laal Maas - fiery, bold, & deeply authentic. This one took me straight back to Rajasthan.
Paneer Lababdar - rich, creamy, & loaded with flavor.
Dal Makhni - slow-cooked perfection. Easily one of the best I've tasted.
Methi Chicken - aromatic & unique, with a lovely hint of bitterness from the fenugreek.
& to end on a sweet high - the Kesar Pista Kulfi! Served with such elegance & bursting with rich saffron & pistachio flavor. A royal dessert that looked & tasted like luxury.
Every dish had a soul, a story, & a serious amount of flavor. This place doesn't just serve Indian food it redefines it. Montreal, consider yourself lucky to have this gem. & if you're from Rajasthan like me, you'll feel right at home.

I recently had the vegetarian thali at this Indian restaurant, & it was a truly satisfying meal. The thali offered a great variety of dishes, giving a well-rounded taste of traditional Indian flavors.
The service was prompt, & the staff was polite & helpful. Portion size was generous & good value for money.
Overall, a delicious & wholesome meal that I'd definitely recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a vegetarian Indian spread.

Incredible flavors that feel like home, served with warmth by staff who treat you like family - truly a five-star Indian dining experience. The food speaks for itself, but staff member Nakul & Shaurya truly made the experience unforgettable with their kindness & attention. Compliments to the chef! Absolutely incredible thali experience!
The flavors here are truly unmatched in Montreal - rich, royal, & deeply satisfying. Every dish in the thali was perfectly spiced, unique in taste, & clearly prepared with love, care, & attention to detail. You can tell nothing is mass-produced; each item felt handcrafted to perfection.
The staff were warm & welcoming, & the chef personally came over to ask for feedback, which shows how committed they are to understanding & meeting the expectations of their guests. This level of hospitality, combined with the outstanding food, makes it an easy 10/10 for taste & service. A must-visit if you're craving authentic, soulful Indian food.
Tried this place last week & was seriously impressed! The Veg Kolhapuri was one of the best paneer dishes I've had - super flavorful & well-spiced. Paired it with garlic naan & loved every bite.

We had a wonderful dinner experience, & Lea, our server, made it even more special. From the moment we were seated, she greeted us with a warm smile & was attentive throughout the evening. Her friendly attitude & excellent service added a personal touch that truly stood out.
