Tried chat papri & the platter was very appetizing. Main course was equally pleasant. Highly recommend this place to try out dishes that you don't easily find on an Indian restaurant menu :)
I've visited Rendez-vous Bistro twice now, & both times the experience has been excellent. The food, presentation, & service all stand out. The Bhatti ka Murg & Dahi ke kebab were absolutely amazing - full of flavor & perfectly cooked, definitely must-try starters. The Garlic Naan paired really well with both Murg Rajputana & Chicken Tikka Masala, which were rich, flavorful, & authentic.
The ambiance is cozy yet refined, & the staff are attentive without being intrusive. One thing to note - if you request Indian spicy, be prepared! They take spice levels seriously, & it can get genuinely spicy 🌶🌶🌶, so order accordingly.
I'm already planning to go back soon - the Thali is next on my list. Highly recommend this place if you're craving well-made Indian food in Montreal.

Je me permets un commentaire constructif aux propriétaires : un effort pour nous accueillir & nous servir en français s'impose. Ça n'a pas à être parfait & votre français s'améliorera graduellement à force de le pratiquer. Ce sera toutefois perçu comme une marque de respect envers vos clients francophones & cohérent avec le fait que votre établissement se trouve au coeur du Quartier latin de Montréal. Je suis convaincu que vos efforts seront remarqués & salués.
I had a wonderful dining experience at Rendez Vous Bistro! Right from the moment I walked in, the way they greeted me was exceptional - truly a real Maharaja-style service that made me feel valued & welcomed.
For starters, I tried the dahi kebab, which was perfectly crisp on the outside & soft, flavorful inside. For the main course, I ordered paneer kolhapuri along with turbo naan, garlic naan, & lachha paratha-each one was fresh, soft, & paired beautifully with the rich, spicy curry. To complement the meal, the mango lassi was refreshing & absolutely delightful.
Everything I ordered was simply awesome, both in taste & presentation. The service throughout was top-notch; the staff was attentive, polite, & went above & beyond to make the dining experience memorable.
Overall, Rendez Vous Bistro is a gem! Exceptional hospitality, amazing food, & the kind of service that keeps you coming back. Highly recommended!
We were visiting Montreal from Toronto & this restaurant is a best place to enjoy Indian food. Chef/owner Chakradhar Chandela knows how to keep the flavours authentic & has exceptional skills in cooking. Shaurya also was very helpful in explaining about the flavours & ingredients about each dish we ordered. 💯 recommend to enjoy authentic Indian food when visiting Montreal.
From appetizers to desserts, everything was absolutely amazing! The highlight of the night was definitely the Pista Kulfi - so refreshing & delicious. A big shoutout to Shaurya for the outstanding service - super friendly, welcoming, & spot-on with recommendations. He made our dining experience even more special. OMG!! Found one of the best Restaurants in the City of Montreal. Living here since 2019 never had a experience like this restaurant before. The food & embienece was amazing 😍 truly an authentic Indian cuisine experience. Staff was amazing Specially Roshan who recommended us to chose the food we can have had a nice chat with us told the story about the restaurant & also Owner of the the restaurant who is also the chef of the restaurant came to see us. We shared our thoughts about the & how amazing it was I will say Must go place whenever you have cravings of food. A Bit expensive 🫰 but worthy when have a taste of the Food. Love you guys keep doing whatever you are doing 🦚😍
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt inviting, thanks to Lea's & the other staff's warm, sweet greeting that instantly made us feel at home. Roshan's service was simply outstanding - attentive without being intrusive, genuinely warm, & incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He even accommodated our special request for a less spicy chicken malai tikka for my kid - & wow, she absolutely relished it. His recommendations were nothing short of spectacular, & his charm made the whole experience even more memorable. The lamb curry was one of a kind - so tender & authentic, unlike anything I've tasted abroad. The kulfi dessert was pure nostalgia, & meeting the hotel owner/chef was a delight - such a grounded personality. Fully recommended - if you're looking for authentic Indian food, this is the place. You'll be blown away. I'll definitely be back!
