We had the murg methi malai & chicken tikka masala & they were both delicious with such unique twists. The paratha & naan were fresh & the desserts were wonderful, we were given some gulab jamun on the house as we had never had it before & were interested in trying - such a thoughtful touch from the staff! Would definitely recommend & will return in a heartbeat, 100% the best restaurant we tried in Montreal 😊View more
Decided to try this out as our first restaurant here in MTL & it was FANTASTIC!! Shaurya came outside to greet us & provided us with excellent service throughout our meal. The flavours were amazing & we will definitely come back! We had the butter chicken, chili chicken, garlic naan & a side of rice & the portions were all perfect together. Definitely worth the visit!! 😊View more
Had Paneer Kohalapuri & Butter Naan. Paneer was soft & tender with right amount of spice in it. Naans were also very soft. Would definitely recommend trying & service too was very good!View more
Recently we had visited the restaurant for dinner after hearing & seeing the reviews stating, must visit restaurant in Montreal. we had ordered Butter & Garlic Naan,Paneer Lababdar & Rajasthani Jungli mass. The curries were not that spicy,if you are a person who loves spicy food I would recommend to mention the spice level required. At the end we received complimentary gulab jamoon which was too good, highly recommend to go for it.Overall it was a good visit for dinner.View more
Amazing food, the rogan josh had a perfectly cooles lamb shank & the garlic naan was the best I've ever had; soft yet somehow also fully crispy. I went for lunch & realised quickly its probably more of a dinner spot as i was alone in the restaurant. But I recieved great service & had a good experience!View more
I was on my way back from Quebec, craving Indian food, & boi! I had a delicious lunch!! The garlic naan with Paneer Lababdar is absolutely recommended, along with their Gulab jamuns. Not to forget Parikram (server) was taking superb care of guests around.View more
We got chicken tikka masala, buttered chicken, & Malabar shrimp curry. It was all delicious. The tikka masala was creamy & seasoned to perfection. We also got garlic & butter naan which was warm & tasty. My only complaint was that the dishes did not come with rice, it had to be ordered separately. Im glad the person that took our order asked if we wanted rice. Overall & amazing experience & I definitely will be coming back.View more
I've tried many restaurants, but this Indian restaurant in Montreal stood out as a place where I found true satisfaction & happiness. The timing of the service was perfect, & the owner was incredibly welcoming, demonstrating a deep understanding of what it takes to provide the best service. We traveled all the way from Mississauga, ON-my mom & I are both chefs, & when we see great service, we know it. I highly recommend trying the Paan Kulfi for dessert, which is made in-house, & the Rogan Josh, which melts in your mouth. Paired with perfectly made naan, it took me back to my hometown in India. Thank you for the wonderful service. My family & I will definitely be coming back-this experience was greatView more
Delicious Flavors & Warm Ambiance! I recently dined at Rendezvous Bistro & Mixology & had an incredible experience. The food was bursting with authentic Indian flavors, & every dish was prepared to perfection. From the rich & creamy butter chicken to the perfectly spiced biryani, everything was absolutely delicious. The naan was soft & fresh, complementing the curries wonderfully. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm & inviting, with a cozy atmosphere that made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The staff were attentive & friendly, making excellent recommendations & ensuring we had everything we needed. If you're craving traditional Indian cuisine that packs a punch in flavor, I highly recommend this restaurant ! It's a gem for anyone who loves good food & a great dining experience.View more
Food was delicious & arrived fast. However, the dishes were generally very oily, & the naan was overly greasy. Great service.View more
I recently dined at Rendez-Vous & had an exceptional experience! I ordered the paneer, garlic naan, & some ice cream for dessert. The paneer was perfectly cooked, flavorful, & fresh, & the garlic naan was soft with the right amount of crispiness-an excellent complement to the dish. The ice cream was a delightful way to end the meal. The ambience of the restaurant is fantastic-modern yet cozy, making it the perfect spot for a casual meal or a special occasion. The service was top-notch; the staff were attentive, friendly, & ensured we had everything we needed. I remember served by LEA & she had attention to detail when told about my dietary preferences. The location is ideal, easy to find, & well-connected. Overall, this place is a gem for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine. Highly recommend!"View more
I went there with my friends & I tried Dal Makhni with Garlic naan, Dahi kebab, Sofiyana paneer, chaat paapdi. Ambience was great. Every single dish was among one of the best Indian dishes I have tried in Canada. Coming from New Delhi I can confidently say that everything was authentic. The chef is very humble & passionate for his work. I had a long conversation with him about his process. 10/10View more
Had a great time here with friends & trying out this place. It is Indian food, but they make it so different than everywhere else. The fusion & innovation really surprised me. I really liked the different naans & the vegetarian curries. For date night or for an outing with a group of friends, this place is great !View more
Amazing amazing indian restaurant (I've tasted a lot & this is among my top 3 in Montreal). It's a perfect spot for dates but also a night out with friends & family. You can modify the level of spiciness to full enjoy the beautiful aroma of each dishes. I LOVE the paneer dishes & their naans. If you love mutton, go with this dish : kashmiri mutton rista. If you love chicken, go with this dish : tangri kebab & dum chicken biryani.View more
Meilleur poulet au beurre à vie. Naans parfaits. Seul bémol, aucun service en français.View more
Just got back from a great visit to Montreal & had a really wonderful meal at Rendez-vous Bistro. Roshan(sp?) was extremely courteous & sat us quickly at a table under the awning outside despite us arriving 15 minutes early. He was a truly excellent server who took clearly took pride in the excellent kitchen. The meal was fantastic! Best Naan we have ever had & the dishes were beautiful & tasted awesome. Tucking under the protection of the awning with the twinkling lights while the rain came enjoying a beautiful meal was what we were hoping for & luckily found at Rendez-vous! We'll be back again soon!View more
Had a lovely time on their terrace for dinner. Our waiter was very welcoming & attentive. We had the murg methi malai, which was to die for, the paneer lababdar & some garlic naan. For dessert we had the paan kulfi which was equally amazing. This was definitely the best Indian food I've had in a long time. Will be coming back!View more
I am very passionate about this being the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to. When we walked in, they said it was reservation only & that we wouldn't be able to come in. But, we were quickly accommodated & sat down at a table when they were full for the night. The staff was extremely welcoming & the chef himself even asked us how the food was. Now, to the food. One consistent issue I have run into with Indian restaurants is that they don't have enough vegetarian options, or the vegetarian food is extremely subpar compared to non-veg options. They KNOCKED it out of the park with the food here. Everything tasted extremely fresh & authentic, & was the perfect combination of spicy & flavorful. The Naan & Roti was extremely good, & perfectly complemented the curry we got which was the Paneer Lababdar, the Veg Kohlapuri & the Dal Makhani. This place was worth the whole trip to Montreal, coming all the way from Maryland, USA. I highly praise the staff & the chef for being amazing & wonderful. I am happy to say this is the best Indian restaurant in North America, & highly recommend this place to anyone that visits Montreal.View more
Delicious dinner on our first night in Montreal! We loved it. & the naan was so good!View more
Very good food (butter chicken & achari bangain) & very good service. They made us try a new recipe (kind of baklava naan) on the house, it was deliciousView more
Delicious food, some of the best naan & butter chickenView more
Great food with service to match. We had the cheese Naan that I had never found for the last 15 years after leaving Paris!!!! Just like I remembered it. I choose one of their speciality which is called Mutton Rarah. Not too spicey & just the right amount to taste the lamb. I highly recommend it. Quality, taste & price are all on par. Also, as an added bonus, got to try their homemade ice cream. To die for!View more
We ordered Fish Amritsari , Chicken Tikka masala & Methi malai Murgh. All the 3 dishes were excellent & authentic with no color added & quantity was good. The chicken dum biryani was amazing & served in cute serving bowls. Butter Naan were very soft & my son loved them as its his favourite . The manager Shivam who was serving us was extremely courteous & welcoming. It's a very good place for families & very reasonably priced.View more
We were sceptical because of the good reviews this restaurant got as it only had very good reviews. To be fair, we soon realized the restaurant is really that good ! This is a must if you love north indian food. My girlfriend tried a vegeterian menu which was delicious & I got the butter chicken which was one of the best butter chicken menus I ever ate. The chicken & the sauce were just perfect. The naan was also very tasty. Our server was very attentive & friendly!View more
On recommande!! View more
The service was very good not surprising since it was a quiet evening. Our food was very tasty, particularly the naan. The meal was more expensive than at first glance since there is additional charge for naan & riceView more
Excellent customer service! The food was just yum yum yum. Tried the Murg Methi Malai with Garlic naan, & it was really different from any other Indian cuisines I've had before. Presentation was absolutely stunning & appetizing. Nonetheless, the restaurant itself was very warm & inviting.View more
We had a wonderful experience both in terms of food & service. The team is superb. The best part is chef personaly meeting you & taking care of your taste. Must visit restaurant. For info we had varieties of naan, paneer lababdar, methi chaman, dal makhani, dahi ke kebab, jeera rice & gulab jamuns.View more
Mutton Rarah was delicious, great mix of flavours & textures with both the cubed & ground lamb. Garlic naan had plenty of garlic. The recommended Dahi ke Kebab appetizer was a great start, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. Rasmalai was tasty, definitely a more complex take on a dessert I'm usually so-so about. The nobles cocktail was nice & anise-y. The pretty in a cage was very refreshing with the cucumber syrup. Gorgeous terrasse. Service was efficient but overly attentive. I felt like I could barely get through a topic with my friend or a bite/sip without the waiter checking in on us & starting a conversation. The chef was nice enough to introduce himself, but I felt like he had to make an excuse for every very minor (& valid) constructive criticism my friend had instead of just taking the feedback & moving on.View more
The best Indian food I've had. Creative & very flavorful takes on dishes I've been eating for years. Server suggested something I've never heard of, & it was phenomenal - merg methi malai. Garlic naan was also delicious.View more
