Whether it is to eat desserts on the plate or to discover the magnificent savory offer, the Ratafia guarantees an extraordinary experience, where each dish is worked to highlight the products and delight the sharpest eye.
The uniquely structured kitchen does not hide a great chef but five talented pastry chefs, who in turn take part in the creation of the dishes and enjoy working in an egalitarian environment where everyone has their place.

Desserts are a highlight for many guests, and overall quality remains high from starters to desserts, with a professional and welcoming atmosphere throughout.
The brioche, the honey cake, & the cappelletti were excellent! The cavatelli was good in flavor but lacking in wow factor, would have loved a vegetable in there, or a protein option. Service was excellent. Music a bit loud.

I can't even begin to explain the incredible service we received here.
Everything on the menu was a surprise we had no idea what they were going to serve next, which made the whole experience even more exciting.
Honestly, I can barely remember all the dish names, but I'll try my best because everything felt like such a unique experience.
For appetizers, we were served both vegan & beef meatballs, followed by an octopus dish only my second time trying octopus, & it was absolutely delicious & unlike anything I've had before. We also had brioche & a pasta with butter, red chili, & rosemary that was simple yet so flavorful.
There was one salad that both my partner & I didn't enjoy, but what truly stood out was how the staff handled it they kindly offered us one of our cocktails on the house. That level of generosity & care is something I've honestly never experienced at a restaurant before.
& the dessert… so freaking good.
Overall, the food was great, but the service made the entire experience unforgettable.
My wife & I dream about the dessert we had here on a whim. The food is incredible. The staff are amazing. If I could speak French & immigrate to Canada then I would find a place right across the street from this restaurant & eat there every day.
A very cozy & romantic place to visit! The desserts are simply amazing, & the service is excellent. The warm lighting & abundance of plants create a lovely, cozy vibe.

My husband & I went to Ratafia for my birthday. It was a quiet night but the food & service did not disappoint. We chose the secret menu with the wine pairing for each course. We've been to numerous restaurants around the city, it's the first time we've experienced such a culinary delight. From start to finish, the dishes were presented with gorgeous design & the ingredients danced lovingly on our palates. Chef Magie Marier experiments with bold flavors & textures, it's no surprise she was one of the top contenders in last year's 2025 series' Les Chefs'. Our servers Joannie & Moe were exceptional, attentive to every detail. They were kind & personable, truly making our special evening even more memorable.
We highly recommend this establishment.

One of our new favorites in Montreal. Amazing creative food, excellent service, beautiful wine. We did the discovery menu which they happily accommodated to the dietary restrictions we had. Can't wait to come back!
Tombée par hasard au 2e service le soir de la Saint-Valentin, une table disponible comme par magie suite au no-show d'un autre couple.. bref, un incroyable accueil, dans un décor & une ambiance intimiste. Les serveurs sont discrets mais au petit soin avec un grand soucis du détail. La nourriture était ex-cep-tionnel, avec un mélange de saveurs audacieux & harmonieux. Des cocktails tout aussi originaux & savoureux.
J'aurai voulu que la soirée ne s'arrête jamais!

Le menu de la Saint-Valentin était absolument mémorable - chaque bouchée était un pur délice. Une soirée parfaite dans une ambiance élégante & conviviale.

Tout était parfait ! Si j'avais pu mettre plus que 5 étoiles, je l'aurai fait.
C'est la 3eme année que nous venons pour la saint Valentin. J'ai toujours été satisfaite mais cette année, mon expérience a surpassée toutes mes attentes ! Notre serveuse, Delphine, a été aux petits soins tout au long de la soirée. Polie, souriante, serviable & attentive à nos « besoins » . Merci encore !
Quant au menu … quel régal ! De l'entrée jusqu'au dessert. On est passées de saveurs « simples » mais parfaitement travaillées & réalisées à des mets bien plus audacieux mais le tout toujours dans l'équilibre & la justesse.
Les cocktails étaient eux aussi, goûtus & équilibrés.
