We stumbled on this restobar while waiting for a reservation elsewhere. I was just expecting a classic wine bar & mid finger food but we were very pleasantly surprised.

Food was crazy good. Do yourself a favour & order the beef cheek croquettes + focaccia.

Staff were friendly & very helpful in catering to our needs (in & out in 40min because of our reservation)

If it were for me, I would have ordered more food & would have spent the night there.

Such a beautiful restaurant. The service was wonderful- staff is incredibly kind. The food was delicious & well worth the pricing. The flavours are intricately paired & go so well together. The wine list is vast - there are so many choices & their options are excellent quality. They also have a wonderful selection of cocktails. I wanted something with limoncello & their bartender whipped up the perfect spritz for me. Absolutely recommend & would go again in a heartbeat.

Nice wine bar with an exquisite dessert selection. The challenge is to keep enough of an appetite to get a taste of it. The menu is convenient for sharing & each plates were rich in flavors & textures. With the menu changing, it is the king of place you will look forward to coming back again.
The waiters offers a welcoming service & take time to explain thoroughly the plates presented in front of you.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary & had the best night with incredible food! A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful server, Vanessa, who truly went above & beyond to make our night special as well as offering some tips for our vacation in Montreal.

The food of course, was outstanding too. We are both vegetarian & had several options to chose from. The salad was fresh & seasonal. The main dishes we shared the mushroom & pasta dish were intentional & executed wonderfully. Ending the night with dessert was a great choice too, with such creative sweet treats.

All the wine wine was paired wonderfully. We would come back in a heartbeat!

We had an incredible anniversary dinner, the food was amazing with lots of veggie options. A great wine list & most of all, an amazing server, Venessa who went out of her way to make us feel special & give us many amazing recommendations of places to go in Montreal (which we did, & all were incredible!)

I never write reviews but this place forced my hand in the best way possible.

We were six chaotic but deeply enthusiastic food & wine-loving girls on a Montréal trip, & from the second we walked in, we knew we'd found somewhere special. The food was genuinely out of this world, very inventive & each dishes with personality. The ambiance was intimate, cozy, & somehow made us all feel effortlessly chic despite our general level of chaos. Playlist was also great!

& the service-especially from the two incredible women with glasses whose names we absolutely should have remembered but tragically did not-was next-level. They guided us through everything with so much warmth & ease, & somehow handled our group dynamic like absolute pros.

10/10 would emotionnally attach ourselves to this place again. Will recommend to everyone. Xxx

My husband & I went to Ratafia for my birthday. It was a quiet night but the food & service did not disappoint. We chose the secret menu with the wine pairing for each course. We've been to numerous restaurants around the city, it's the first time we've experienced such a culinary delight. From start to finish, the dishes were presented with gorgeous design & the ingredients danced lovingly on our palates. Chef Magie Marier experiments with bold flavors & textures, it's no surprise she was one of the top contenders in last year's 2025 series' Les Chefs'. Our servers Joannie & Moe were exceptional, attentive to every detail. They were kind & personable, truly making our special evening even more memorable.
We highly recommend this establishment.

Had such a wonderful experience at Ratafia.I'm always extra grateful when a restaurant offers thoughtful vegan options in a true fine-dining setting, & Ratafia absolutely delivered. Every dish felt intentional, creative, & beautifully presented.

A special thank you to our server, Camille, whose attention really elevated the evening. She carefully selected wines that paired perfectly with each dish & guided us through the menu with genuine care & enthusiasm.

It's rare to find a place that combines refined cuisine, excellent wine, & such warm service while still making vegan guests feel fully included. A memorable night, thank you!

One of our new favorites in Montreal. Amazing creative food, excellent service, beautiful wine. We did the discovery menu which they happily accommodated to the dietary restrictions we had. Can't wait to come back!

The food & the dining experience was amazing. We went with the chef's choice. Beautiful presentation, delightful ingredients & delicious dishes.
There were at least four gluten free choices. All excellent.
Delphine gave us excellent, professional & charming service.
Reasonably prices.
Cozy atmosphere.
The drinks were ok. We did not try the wine.
