Tombée par hasard au 2e service le soir de la Saint-Valentin, une table disponible comme par magie suite au no-show d'un autre couple.. bref, un incroyable accueil, dans un décor & une ambiance intimiste. Les serveurs sont discrets mais au petit soin avec un grand soucis du détail. La nourriture était ex-cep-tionnel, avec un mélange de saveurs audacieux & harmonieux. Des cocktails tout aussi originaux & savoureux.

C'est notre restaurant coup de coeur des dernières années! À chaque visite, nous sommes emballés. Autant la cuisine est de haut niveau, le service est exceptionnel & le décor & l'ambiance sont parfaits. J'aime absolument tout de ce restaurant !

We had a romantic weekend in Montreal planned & wanted a special restaurant experience. My husband found this gem. We were intrigued by the menu & how desserts were different & varied. This was by far the best meal we've had in years! The attention to detail in each dish, each wine glass pairing suggestion or cocktail is perfect. The tasting menu is incredible! The staff is attentive & kind. The decor is sexy & beautiful. The music was great. We had a wonderful evening & will make the trip back as often as possible! Thank you Sandra & Jared for making us feel so welcome & for sharing your passion!
The physical space is what you first notice, the art deco decor, soft lighting & great music all beckon you to come in. Ordering wine is a trip across the wine world, through the extremely knowledgeable sommelier. His stories of wine regions are captivating. We chose to come for dessert paired with wine. Not only is the presentation artful but the taste is out of this world. The combinations of original ingredients , those of which you would not expect to eat together, make sense after the first bite. We were blown away. I can hardly wait to return for dinner next time.

We couldn't have been happier to share a Valentine's Day meal at this cozy wine bar. The meal was inventive, delicious. The servers were attentive & warm. The decor was beautiful. Highly recommend.
What a wonderful culinary experience. This was the best service my husband & I have ever had at a restaurant. Ratafia in Montreal is a gem. The atmosphere & decor are inviting, creating the perfect ambiance. The staff's kindness & care added to the experience. Opting for the 6-course sharing menu was a culinary journey, each dish a masterpiece with exotic & magical flavors. A truly memorable & delightful celebration. Thank you very much Joannie !!!
A l'occasion de Montréal en lumière. Un accès chaleureux tout le personnel attentif à la satisfaction du client. Décor intime. Belle présentation du tartare, sauce inoubliable avec l'omble Chevalier, comme pré dessert la mousse au Pied de vent & se termine en beauté la délicieuse camerise tout en onctuosité Que des éloges pour le service d'Heloïse ainsi que Jarred pour les vins. Une soirée inoubliable. Chapeau & bravo au proprio & tout l'équipe en cuisine 2e visite à l'occasion de Montréal à table 2023 toujours impeccable offrant un menu d'exception. Juste tout est parfait à propos du Ratafia! L’équipe de girls super sympathique (Merci Marie-Aline pour le service de fuego!), la nourriture avec ses saveurs & textures recherchées & ambitieuses, l’ambiance feutrée & le décor magnifique.
On a pris le menu dégustation pour 2, super abordable, belle façon de goûter à plein de trucs : highly recommend!

Soirée presque parfaite! Menu incroyable; chaque bouchée représentait bien chaque ingrédient. La balance des saveurs a été totalement réussie.

Aurait préféré une musique plus jazzé & feutré mais l'ambiance y était légère & très agréable.

Outstanding. Of course famous for their desserts, but the meals & cocktails are also top notch. Love the decor & ambiance, a very classy & contemporary joint. Great place to bring a date or a (small) group of friends. Just don't show up hungry because the portions are very small.

I had an amazing night last night at Ratafia! Customer service was attentive & unpretentious. We got some great food & wine recommendations from our waiter, Jared( also part owner!). The food is absolutely delicious & the plating is stunning-just like the décor. My friend has a nut & sesame allergy, & they were very accommodating for that too! Want to have a great night with girls? This is the place. Want to have a cozy date night? Also the place. There are so many restaurants & bars in Montréal but if you are picky on quality like me, this place will not disappoint. I can not say enough great things & will definitely be back!
Loved the concept & decor. Our waiter was knowledgeable & courteous. Would love to revisit however very pricey! 14$ for 2.5 oz dessert wine & 15$ for a slice of cake....ouch!
Excellent restaurant avec un décor digne des bars d'hôtels. L'offre est originale & complète & permet de profiter d'une grande qualité de desserts dans une ambiance adaptée aux adultes. Je recommande cet établissement à tous ceux & celles qui apprécient les desserts & qui aiment passer une soirée différente. Bravo aux jeunes propriétaires & longue vie au Ratafia!
