My husband & I went to Ratafia for my birthday. It was a quiet night but the food & service did not disappoint. We chose the secret menu with the wine pairing for each course. We've been to numerous restaurants around the city, it's the first time we've experienced such a culinary delight. From start to finish, the dishes were presented with gorgeous design & the ingredients danced lovingly on our palates. Chef Magie Marier experiments with bold flavors & textures, it's no surprise she was one of the top contenders in last year's 2025 series' Les Chefs'. Our servers Joannie & Moe were exceptional, attentive to every detail. They were kind & personable, truly making our special evening even more memorable.

Tombée par hasard au 2e service le soir de la Saint-Valentin, une table disponible comme par magie suite au no-show d'un autre couple.. bref, un incroyable accueil, dans un décor & une ambiance intimiste. Les serveurs sont discrets mais au petit soin avec un grand soucis du détail. La nourriture était ex-cep-tionnel, avec un mélange de saveurs audacieux & harmonieux. Des cocktails tout aussi originaux & savoureux.
J'aurai voulu que la soirée ne s'arrête jamais!

Le menu de la Saint-Valentin était absolument mémorable - chaque bouchée était un pur délice. Une soirée parfaite dans une ambiance élégante & conviviale.

On a strong recommendation from our friends who had a magnificent dining experience.. the vegetable & dessert forward menu was eclectic, creative & extremely well executed. As there were so many interesting offerings on your menu we decided to participate in the carte blanche menu. They selected five outstanding starters machines & desserts that showcased their skill & creative use of fresh seasonal ingredients. The beauty of the menu & the pacing of the meal is that by the time dessert arrived, we had just enough room after the pallet cleanser to hit the highlight of the evening! It was a steady growing crescendo of flavor all evening long! Service from our server Camille was absolutely outstanding. She was friendly, attentive & knowledgeable. We had an amazing experience & look forward to coming back again in the near future! Highly recommended!
J'ai adoré mon expérience à MTL à table! Les plats étaient à la fois originaux & délicieux, avec des mariages de saveurs sucrées-salées auxquels je n'aurais jamais pensé. Une belle découverte culinaire que je recommande vivement.
Nous sortons tout juste du Ratafia où nous nous sommes régalés avec le menu MTL à table & son accord vins. Original savoureux & généreux. Tout était fantastique mais j'ai un petit coup de coeur pour le spaghetti avec champignons ainsi que la brioche & sa fabuleuse dukka. Nous y retournerons & le recommandons assurément. Les présentations étaient si parfaites & alléchantes qu'on n'a pas eu le temps de prendre des photos 😋
Nous avons réservé un souper au Ratafia pour marquer un événement spécial. Quelle merveilleuse idée nous avons eu!
Nous avons choisi le repas carte blanche à partager avec l'accord des vins.
Les 2 entrées, le plat principal & les 2 desserts nous ont littéralement transporté ailleurs. Présentation, textures, saveurs, tout est à la hauteur. Mention spéciale à l'accord mets/vin!
Le service est attentionné & très professionnel incluant un changement de couverts à chaque service.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre première expérience ici. Le service est impeccable & répond aux standards qu'on s'attend dans un restaurant dans cet game. Les détails font énormément la différence : du changement d'ustensiles à chaque plat, au changement de la coupe de vin entre chaque verre.
L'expérience des mets vous fait découvrir une nouvelle dimension culinaire. Vous allez autant manger avec les yeux qu'avec le ventre.
Je tiens également à remercier les services de Vanessa durant notre soirée. Sa prestance, son professionnalisme a rendu notre soirée très agréable.
Je recommande sans hésitation & nous avons bien hâte d'y retourner.
We ordered the seven course tasting menu at Ratafia. Overall, we were satisfied with the experience. It was very fusion with a lot of unexpected flavours & combinations, some more successful than others. The staff was extremely attentive & interactive describing the courses. The menu isn't very big so I would recommend checking it out before going if you are selective about what you want to eat. There is a small outside terrace right on St Laurent in addition to the indoor dining.
Editing to say that, even after the seven course tasting menu, my husband needed to have a small meal when we got home. I wouldn't advise it for big eaters.
Le 12 avril, au début de la dernière saison des chefs j'avais décidé de réserver chez vous pour voir & expérimenter le talent de cette jeune chef que je venais de voir à la télé: Magie. Elle est une virtuose des entrées. Je crois avoir pris une entrée de crabe. C'était divin. Ce soir à la grande finale c'est elle qui a le mieux réussis ses 2 entrées. Je ne m'étais pas trompé. Nous étions aller la voir en cuisine, quelle gentillesse & bonté. & voilà ce soir elle gagne le coup de coeur de ses pairs. Ce soir là au resto j'avais le pressentiment qu'elle s'était rendu loin dans la compétition. L'accueil & le service ont été excellent. Bravo à la propriétaire charmante hôtesse & son conjoint qui sait bien choisir ses vins. Le chablis grand cru qu'on a bu était délicieux. Est-ce qu'on recommande ? Sans l'ombre d'un doute. On se sent comme chez soi avec une belle ambiance en prime.
Very nice place. I absolutely recommend their agnolotti (pasta) plate as well as their chocolate mousse. However, I feel that meals/appetizers were way too salty + my partner had the duck & really did not like it. I would still go back & 100% recommend.
Special events at Ratafia are always an incredible experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to everybody. Take your loved ones out for a special dinner & enjoy good food, good service, & an overall astounding ambiance.
Meilleur dessert de ma vie (butterscotch), à boire avec un expresso Martini pleeeeaaassseee !! Ecellent service, staff incroyable !! Bon vin, ambiance parfaite. Je vous recommande chaudement cet endroit !
Nous avons passé une super belle soirée au Ratafia. L'ambiance est super cool & la nourriture est excellente. Les plats sont très bien réfléchis & sont remplis de bonnes saveurs. Aussi, la serveuse connaissait très bien ces plats & nous a proposé des excellents accords mets vin. Je recommande fortement.
