What a wonderful culinary experience. This was the best service my husband & I have ever had at a restaurant. Ratafia in Montreal is a gem. The atmosphere & decor are inviting, creating the perfect ambiance. The staff's kindness & care added to the experience. Opting for the 6-course sharing menu was a culinary journey, each dish a masterpiece with exotic & magical flavors. A truly memorable & delightful celebration. Thank you very much Joannie !!!
Endroit exceptionnel, le service est super amical & sympathique. Les sélections de "à boire" sont infinies & la nourriture est parfaite. C'est un parfait mélange de confort food & d'exotisme. Les saveurs sont équilibrées, tout est bien balancé pour une expérience en bouche. Allez-y !!!
Very nice place, good vibe. Wine bar, meets restaurant. The food was good, fresh, tasty but a bit uneven. My husband & I discussed several improvement points, though we're pretty spoiled & I do think this chef can go far in the future. Great presentation of food, lovely servers they really try to give you a good time.
La courtoisie des propriétaires & du personnel est remarquable, les snakes délicieux & encor plus les desserts pour lesquels on y était venue en particulier.

This is a lovely bar with a fun atmosphere. The bartender was nice & friendly. Our waiter was also very friendly. The drinks we got were good. The Thai Gin was refreshing. We wanted to try more desserts, but we happened to come during a night for an event called MTL à table. This meant they had a reduced menu. The desserts we got were good, although the shape of the chocolate was questionable. The cheese ice cream on top were also slightly overpowering everything else.

Belle présentation du tartare, sauce inoubliable avec l'omble Chevalier, comme pré dessert la mousse au Pied de vent & se termine en beauté la délicieuse camerise tout en onctuosité Que des éloges pour le service d'Heloïse ainsi que Jarred pour les vins. Une soirée inoubliable. Chapeau & bravo au proprio & tout l'équipe en cuisine 2e visite à l'occasion de Montréal à table 2023 toujours impeccable offrant un menu d'exception. Nous avons visité Ratafia dans le cadre de Mtl met la table. Les 2 premiers services nous ont convenus côté nourriture, mais les deux derniers pas mal moins. L'accord vin était bien au début, mais la fin avec le chenin blanc & le vermouth, cela s'est gâché. Le serveur était condescendant & n'a amené & presenté ni le menu ni les repas. On n'a oublié de nous ramener des ustensiles entre les services. On a amené des cocktails avec des papiers de commande de l'imprimante collée sous le verre. La personne attitrée au service des assiettes ainsi que notre propre serveur ne savaient pas à qui allaient chaque plat & chaque accord vin. Sincèrement déçue de l'expérience.
Cool place with nice design & furniture, including an outside small terrace. Ambience is ok as well. Food is decent, but nothing crazy. Some dishes were tasteless ( like the arborio rice ), others ok, but not to die for. The only crazy thing is the dessert ( beetroot cake ) in my opinion. & I'm not a big dessert fan. Service was ordinary towards bad. My waitress was bad, but I saw the other ones & they were pretty good, so I won't judge based on mine as it looks like it was her first day at work. For my hungry friends, portions are rather small so you might leave hungry. I recommend you have a small bite before going if you are hungry by default. Good wine list. Some interesting cocktails as well🍸. Verdict : give it a try.

Nous y sommes allé pour un anniversaire récemment & on a passé une super soirée. Le service était génial, l'ambiance aussi. La nourriture était délicieuse, mais les portions étaient MINUSCULES. On fréquente souvent les bars à vin donc on a des comparatifs... On est allé se chercher un burger plus tard en soirée après avoir quitté 🍔😅
Je ne comprend pas à quoi ça sert de nous demander si la réservation est pour une occasion spéciale si celle-ci n'est aucunement soulignée. Ça donne une fausse impression que l'équipe du restaurant est à l'écoute du client
Your staff perfectly balances professionalism with warmth which made the experience that much more enjoyable. The food is excellent: you surprise by your choices of ingredients, difficult to imagine together but oh so delicious in your pairings. Thank you for a lovely evening.
Service vraiment très agréable. De belles personnes attentionnées. Le soin pris à la préparation des plats est époustouflant (genre japonais dans la minutie). Impressionnant. & bon. Délicieux
