About us

Established in the heart of Little Italy since the summer of 2019, Ratafia welcomes you in a decor with Art Deco accents and a festive atmosphere. Whether it is to eat desserts on the plate or to discover the magnificent savory offer, the Ratafia guarantees an extraordinary experience, where each dish is worked to highlight the products and delight the sharpest eye.

The uniquely structured kitchen does not hide a great chef but five talented pastry chefs, who in turn take part in the creation of the dishes and enjoy working in an egalitarian environment where everyone has their place.

A large original wine list,

Un bel endroit à découvrir & une carte surprenante tant les plats salés que les plats sucrés. Je vous conseille le menu découverte pour ne rien rater de tout cela ! Un grand coup de coeur pour le tartare de veau & le dessert à la fenouil de par la diversité des textures !

Very nice place. I absolutely recommend their agnolotti (pasta) plate as well as their chocolate mousse. However, I feel that meals/appetizers were way too salty + my partner had the duck & really did not like it. I would still go back & 100% recommend.

Special events at Ratafia are always an incredible experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to everybody. Take your loved ones out for a special dinner & enjoy good food, good service, & an overall astounding ambiance.

Ultimately the food is just too sweet. We tasted 70% of their dishes & they were all just sweet. Their two pasta dishes incorporated sweet root vegetables so they tasted the same. On the bright side, the sweetness paid off on the DESSERTS lol. The red velvet dessert was divine & I would go back just for that.

Just really excellent & unique food. They are popular for the desserts & deservedly so of course, but all the savoury dishes we had were also top-notch. Plus, they change their menu monthly.

On s'est offer une sortie que pour des desserts. Ce fut une excellente dégustation. Les attentes étaient d'avoir des plats trop complexes à faire à la maison & un mélange d'ingrédients inusités. Ce fut un succès.

Ça fait plusieurs fois que je vais à ce restaurant & je ne comprend pas pourquoi il ne reçoit pas autant d'éloge. J'en ai fait des restaurants dans ma vie & c'est franchement l'un des meilleurs où je suis allé. Autant dans les plats salés que dans les plats sucrés, il a une réflexion & une recherche de saveurs afin d'amuser notre palais & découvrir des saveurs inusités & sublimes. Franchement l'un des meilleurs restaurants à Montréal. &... que dire du service... on est servi comme des rois/ reines. BRAVO à toutes l'équipe!!!
