About us

Established in the heart of Little Italy since the summer of 2019, Ratafia welcomes you in a decor with Art Deco accents and a festive atmosphere. Whether it is to eat desserts on the plate or to discover the magnificent savory offer, the Ratafia guarantees an extraordinary experience, where each dish is worked to highlight the products and delight the sharpest eye.

The uniquely structured kitchen does not hide a great chef but five talented pastry chefs, who in turn take part in the creation of the dishes and enjoy working in an egalitarian environment where everyone has their place.

A large original wine list,

Présentation & raffinement des plats incroyables, autant visuellement que gustativement! Le manque de protéines dans la sélection des plats véganes est selon moi le seul bémol, car ils nous laissaient sur notre faim. Clairement on y retourne, pour l'ambiance, la carte des vins & les desserts notamment!

Bons cocktails & apéros/entrées à partager (brioche & olives chaudes). Toutefois, au niveau des plats, nous avons trouvé les quantités très petites. Les pâtes & le tartare étaient corrects, sans plus. Le service est de base, aimable mais aucune info sur le menu/les plats ou attention particulière (nous étions pourtant là pour un anniversaire, nous l'avons mentionné 2 fois lors de la réservation).

À l'occasion de Montréal en lumière. Accueil chaleureux Personnel au service compétent, soucieux de la satisfaction du client. Tous les plats étaient présentés avec
Soin & de plus tous plus succulent les uns que les autres. Première visite mais pas la dernière. Chapeau à l'équipe autant en cuisine qu'à l'accueil

Outstanding. Of course famous for their desserts, but the meals & cocktails are also top notch. Love the decor & ambiance, a very classy & contemporary joint. Great place to bring a date or a (small) group of friends. Just don't show up hungry because the portions are very small.
