I have lived in Montreal for three years & have visited many restaurants. Seeing the 5-star Google reviews for Ranj's, I was eager to try it out. I went there today with my wife & toddler, but unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the hype. Here are the reasons for my disappointment: 1. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was subpar. We had to clean the table ourselves to remove the mess left by previous customers. 2. Baby High Chair: The high chair for my toddler looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. It was filthy, & I ended up not using it. 3. Food Quality: The food did not live up to the 5-star reviews. If those reviewers think this food is amazing, they must not have visited good restaurants in Canada. For comparison, the chicken isn't even half as good as Popeyes in BC. 4. Service: The waiting time was quite long, & it was difficult to find staff at the cashier when needed. We had to wait several minutes just to get someone's attention. Overall, I will not be visiting this place again. Based on my experience, I believe a 2-star rating is fair for this restaurant.

Service impeccable & la nourriture était excellente. La sauce unique dans leur pita rempli de viande a en déborder donne envie d'y retourner ! Le caissier que je crois être propriétaire a pris le temps de nous parler a la fin de notre repas, il est amical & prend la peine de s'assurer qu'on a mangé a notre faim. Bref, je vous recommande d'y aller!
Saw the high reviews & had to come try it. The food quality is high, excellent presentation. Cash & debit only. The wait time was noted to us by the owner to be long, it took about 20-25 mins & the owner very kindly fast tracked us as we needed to road trip back home. The time is because they don't use warmers & the food is cooked fresh. It's probably wise to call order beforehand. We had the pita & club sandwich.
Incredible food! Go eat here, you will not regret it. Very relaxed vibe, perfect for a late night meal. I haven't had a poutine that delicious in so long. You have to try the reimagined club sandwich! My husband had the tikka wrap & loved it. The owner was the one who took our order, such a nice & genuine guy!

The best place I visited in Montreal. Taste, quantity & the presentation all was spot on & surpassed all expectations. Tried club sandwich, fried chicken, zinger burger & poutine & every item was the best. You can see the presentation in the pictures. Mr Jamal, the owner of the place was extremely courteous & so customer focused. For him his food & service is his pride & you can feel it there. Highly recommended to all my Torontonians
Halal options great for a family outing! We ordered the Tandoori Poutine, Club Sandwiches & 3 piece tenders with Cole slaw with gravy. The best food we had in Montreal, very tasty! I would definitely recommend!
One of the best halal fried chicken spots in Montréal for sure. The fried chicken has a unique taste with good marination & flavours. The food takes around 25-30 minutes to be ready & that's because they make it fresh. The quantity & quality is consistent & great. Overall great experience!
