Tough there are many halal food places here in West Island, we always go to Ranjay's whenever we have fast food cravings, fried chicken, burgers, poutine etc, never disappoint us
As tourists looking for halal places to eat, & with fussy kids, this was one of the highly rated & probably the best chicken burger I have ever had. Really nice food, friendly staff & great service. Put 4 stars for atmosphere, because it wasn't bad but it wasn't wow either, normal!

Ranjy used to be a favorite almost every week but the quality has drastically declined.
The chicken is often dry & the plates are messy with missing toppings or missing sauce.
Example, a'Zinger burger' which includes smoked meat, was served with a single tiny & insulting slice of smoked meat & massive pieces of chicken that dont fit the bun or a human mouth. The smoked meat was included only to say it's there which is unacceptable behavior by the lazy & worthless kitchen staff. Obviously the kitchen has no standards & the staff is out of control & hostile to the buisness so the food is no longer worth the wait or the price.

The sauce-to-curd ratio is heavy & chaotic in the best way possible. It's messy, it's rich, & it hits every single comfort food craving simultaneously.

Zinger Ringer: The Zinger Ringer is a beast of a chicken burger. It features a beautifully glossy, brioche bun holding a massive, ultra-thick crispy fried chicken breast, piled high with fresh lettuce & sauce. They even throw a side of pickled banana peppers/jalapenos in the middle to let you add that extra vinegary, spicy kick. It's got massive height, serious crunch, & zero apology.

The 3 Piece Fried Chicken: We have the golden-brown standard. This 3-piece fried chicken combo looks incredibly crispy with a deeply craggy, textured batter that guarantees a loud crunch with every bite. The color is a perfect deep amber, showing it spent the exact right amount of time in the fryer. Served with another massive pile of those signature crispy fries, dipping gravy, & cool coleslaw to break up the grease, it's an absolute classic done right.

Ranjys is clearly not playing around with their portions or their seasoning. If you want bold flavors, massive crunch, & a serious food coma in the West Island, this lineup is a certified winner.
They charged $5.99 to make it a combo which includes a drink but didn't give me the drink. They charged that amount for a side of fries. The server was not at all in a mood to work & felt like she was there forcefully & missed to give the drink. I ordered meat lovers burger which had pieces of chicken instead of a whole patty which is very strange didn't make any sense taste wise. The pepperoni had old oil smell. The burger was soggy to that extent, the bun broke in the hand when taken out of the box. The bag also didn't have any napkins inside. There was not a single person inside the restaurant. If they were busy I would have understood. Not sure how they have such a good rating with service & food quality like this. I would not recommend this place - bad customer service, missing item & soggy burger.

It was a first time, we were hesitant to drive 35min but it was totally worth it.
The Ranjy's gratinated pita is crazy, you never tasted anything like it.
The fried chicken is perfectly cooked & not oily at all.
The Zinger burger is soo good too.
Many other option's, we'll come back & try.

Visited them from Ottawa on a friend's recommendation & was very impressed. Loved their Zingratta burger & fried chicken pieces. The chicken pieces were super crispy & juicy, probably the best halal ones I have tried so far in Canada. The food was fresh as well. I will definitely eat here again on my next visit to Montreal!
Went for the first time after hearing good things about the food & was not disappointed. Wife & I were in the mood for burgers- spicy chicken for me, gourmet burger for the Mrs. Yummy. The wait is a bit long but well worth it. Restaurant caters more to take out vs dine in from the looks of it, but don't let that discourage you. Will definitely be going back when the urge kicks in.

Mainly serving fried chicken & burgers, but now also offer healthy bowl of salmon, chicken or vegetarian options. If you want to dine in, the wait time from ordering to serving is 20-30 minutes depending on the orders. So, call earlier if you plan to dine in.
