We both had the vegan spicy miso, very good broth & the noodles are vegan by default which is very nice. Service was perfect. I was glad to see advertising for vegan ramen on the walls too.
The place was a bit cold tho so we moved our table 🥹
Vege spicy miso was good, i wish they had tantan black sesame chicken/beef instead of pork only. The $2 extra for spicy sauce wasn't worth it.
15% student discount offered here!! i had the red miso & it was probably the best ramen i've had outside of japan. great broth; the chashu pork was the best i've ever tasted (as someone who doesn't love pork) - thinly sliced & melts in your mouth; the bean sprouts were fresh & crunchy. my only complaint is the noodles were a little too firm & chewy. the server was great & I can only describe the service as *lightning fast!* great experience.
Top notch ramen. The fat is well emulsified into the soup, the flavors are amazing, they mix multiple umami flavors together (miso, shoyu, porc, dashi) to create amazing boths. Noodles are thick & chewy. The only thing not fully to my taste is the porc which depending on your luck may be 80% fat sometimes which is too much, & they try to encourage a 18% minimum tips by not giving an easy lower option which really bothers me. It has always been 15% in Quebec, this is not the US, it's the employer's job to pay their employees not mine. I want none of that BS, if we yield soon they'll be asking 30%+ everywhere.
The place is cute. Service was Amazing. He was super attentive. The food was great the takoyaki were the best I had in a while. I had the spicy miso ramen. The noodles texture were great. The broth was great, super tasty. It could have been more spicy though. I wasnt a fan of the dessert though. But overall I'd go back to try more ramen
spicy miso ramen
takoyaki
karaage
I liked all of them.
spicy miso ramen was a little spicy, but it wasn't too spycy to eat.
The assari shoyu was said to be the lightest of the shoyus, however we thought it was VERY'rich' & still salty (not THAT salty). The extra pork cha su were nicely torched & smoky. The spicy miso was delicious, not too spicy for those who cant handle spice. The korokke was a bit expensive for what it is, but still nice! I would definitely come back!
