Good hotpot ingredients & broth choices where the price is determined by weight.
Having traversed the breadth of the city to sample every hotpot establishment in sight, my journey led me to what has now become a staple in my culinary adventures. Qingshu Fondue distinguishes itself with an innovative approach that resonates deeply with both novices & connoisseurs of hotpot cuisine.
At Qingshu, the process is straightforward yet brilliantly catered to individual preferences. Diners have the liberty to select their ingredients, priced by the 100 gram with a minimum requirement of 400 grams. This method is a fantastic deviation from the traditional all-you-can-eat format, providing a tailored experience for those who prefer precision over abundance. The array of traditional food items available for selection is vast, ensuring that every visit can offer a new taste experience. What's more, the freshness of the ingredients is undeniable, with staff diligently replenishing the self-serve containers to guarantee the highest quality for every meal.
The customization extends to the choice of soup bases, with an enticing option to go for a dry variation if one so desires. This flexibility allows each diner to craft a meal that perfectly aligns with their flavor preferences, making each visit uniquely satisfying. The pricing structure is fair, reflecting the quality & customization available, though it's worth noting that for the extremely famished, an all-you-can-eat venue might offer more economic value.
In conclusion, Qingshu Fondue has cemented its place as a must-visit destination in Montreal for those in pursuit of a hotpot experience that marries tradition with innovation. Its fresh ingredients, customizable options, & attentive service create a dining atmosphere that's hard to match. Whether you're a seasoned hotpot lover or new to the scene, Qingshu Fondue promises an unforgettable meal that will beckon you back time & again.
Idk what their secret is but this restaurant is significantly better than the other hotpot places I've been to. Fairly priced too, though I could probably start a retirement fund with the money I've spent here
A Chinese hotpot restaurant where you pick your ingredients & they cook soup for you. Healthy & tasty. Priced by the weight & could get expensive if you take too much. Be aware:).
Malatang fan! What an amazing discovery! But beware this is not a hotpot but a malatang meaning you choose your stuffs, you bring it to front & you choose a dry broth or wet broth! Thats it! Not a classic hotpot. So do not confuse 🥴. First timer! Another alert. Normal pot prices average 30-40. Anything over this amount, you must be hungry. It was our first time sk our bowl cost over $70 per person but no worry we take out home. I personnaly recommend the soup base broth as it is more comfort. The dry pot is also good. Get ready to bring some home Personnal note: super dude call jackson so patient as it was an one man show. Thank you for the amazing service
