Review Summary

Overall, reviews describe Punjab Palace as a reliable spot for flavorful authentic Indian cuisine with generous portions and affordable prices. Dishes such as tandoori selections, chicken tikka masala, roganjosh, lamb korma, bhagan eggplant, okra, and a plentiful supply of naan and pani puri are repeatedly praised for depth, balance and spice. The menu is noted for variety and the ability to order for dine-in or delivery, with many mentioning fresh vegetables and hearty components. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, with an emphasis on authentic flavors and satisfying portions, and the naan is often described as outstanding while pani puri is a standout favorite. Service is frequently praised as friendly and attentive, though a few reviews touch on language considerations and occasional inconsistency. Hygiene and cleanliness are occasionally cited as needing renovation, but the overall impression remains strong, with many calling the place a gem and one of the best Indian spots in the area.

Item ordered: Lamb Biryani Heat level: spicy So I went for dine in. Ordered lamb biryani, & I was told that it will be spicy, which is ok with me. The portion was good. Meat was tender & in enough quantity according to the good portion. It was also spicy, as I was told while ordering. Now, they did what many other restaurants do with biryani. Mix the rice with the meat/ chicken/ beef curry right before serving. This will always break the rice & make the biryani look wet kinda wet with curry. It wasn't too wet though. I think it wasnt also steamed(dumm) before serving, but thats perfectly ok as it is not advertised as steamed biryani. The rice was all orange, & some what looked like ok quality basmati. The taste was close to dhaba style mutton as it was slightly sour. Not close to what authentic mutton biryani tastes like. I was told their biryani is good but I was disappointed. No one makes biryani like they do in karachi Over all 6/10

Food is very tasty. If you like hot & spicy this is the place. Be aware: spicy is SPICY! My fave is Butter chicken but I also had tandoori which is excellent. Next time I will try the lamb & other curry. My first time here. I will come back for sure. Edit: my son & wife were there, eating butter chicken. They were very sick, bad food poisoning. It was terrible
