Superb, imaginative cocktails were what the night called for, & Projet Pilote delivered. I discovered this bar on a trip to Montreal two years ago & it was top of my list of things to do on my return visit last night. Expensive. We were like 16 people & we went to celebrate a birthday. We all had drinks & something to eat & at the end we wanted to sing happy birthday & eat the tiny cake, but they didn't let us because'we sell food so you can't celebrate your birthday'. I must say I had zero expectations going in, I didn't know much about this place & we were just looking for a quiet place to have a drink & covered from the rain. I really enjoyed my visit, we stayed almost 3 hours.
The layout works, it's comfortable, the decor is pretty nice. The cocktails are good & creative. Staff was friendly.
There are some food options, quite limited menu. Our food was ok but I found it too expensive for what it is. Next time, I'll stick to drinks only.Voir plus

La cuisine est ok. On est pas sur du gastro, mais c'est efficace.
Par contre j'y suis allé un vendredi soir &... la musique était très (trop) forte. L'ambiance, tout ça, je comprends. Mais j'avais du mal à parler avec la personne juste à côté de moi.

Nice little place great ambiance, decor & nothing ordinary.
All the drinks beers are local/small batch products no big names, gotta try.
Similar for the food, everything is a little fancy & out of the ordinary. Gnocchi recommended, smash burger was fine but doesn't come with anything on the side which left me hungry & seems designed to require loading up on sides.
Overall really fun experience, do expect to be trying something new. At the same time expect to pay a little more as everything is a little off the beaten path, however you do get what you pay for.Voir plus

Une mention spéciale pour l'excellente qualité du service de Benjamin qui m'a fait déguster plusieurs de leurs bières ce qui m'a amené à choisir la Partout Funky une Grisette d'épeautre rafraîchissante qui sera parfaite pour cet été.

We had an excellent time here; this was our neighborhood bar on our visit to Montreal. The service was impeccable & the bartenders fast friends. Such a friendly & fun vibe, made us feel like we could be exactly ourselves. The staff takes such good care with the cocktails, & they were absolutely stunning. Can't say enough good things!Voir plus
Sur Rachel, non loin du parc Lafontaine, c'est une vraie découverte à Montréal. C'est même l'endroit pour croiser des personnalités publiques comme un ministre par exemple. Je vous recommande de manger sur place, & d'essayer les frites cuites 3 fois. C'est délicieux ! La tartine aux crevettes de Matane est exquise. Une véritable coup de coeur!Voir plus

Tried a bunch of stuff including a few of their seasonal offerings. The salad was absolutely unique. I've never had anything like it before & it absolutely slayed.
The chips & dip were incredible. They were so good that I ordered some fries to finish off the dip. The fries were tremendously okay.
Wasn't planning on getting the smash burger, but then I smelled it when it was delivered to the table next to me. Did not disappoint. Didn't get it with bacon so can't comment on that, but with everything else it was delicious & well-rounded.Voir plus
