I do not purchase pastries or breads from here often as I try my best to eat natural ,organic, & / or biodynamic foods. However, sometimes I need a quick birthday cake or cup of coffee so this place still provides a very clean set up of pastries, ect, which are beautiful & have the traditional flavor profiles & textures one would expect. A plus is the staff are super professional & friendly even though sometimes they are slammed with customers putting in their orders.
Il y a foule & ce n'est pas pour rien! Tout est non seulement magnifique à voir mais aussi à déguster. J'ai rapidement mangé un croissant au chocolat & un café...& acheté une bouteille d'eau ... en passant, mais j'aurais bien mangé sur place. Les gâteaux sont magnifiques. & une abondance de tout. & malgré la foule il y a plusieurs caisses. & les employés réussissent à être gentils
We had a raspberry eclair, lemon tart & double chocolate cookie. The pastries were all incredible, especially the chocolate cookie. My only complaint is that there were 3 of us ordering 2 pastries to share (cookie was to-go) & only 1 fork provided & then we had to interrupt the super busy line for more utensils. Just put them out.

Excellent Bakery Goods. Cakes are delicious. Tarts & pastries are delicious also. The bread selection is great 👍🏻 Service was slow but it is usually good.
Great selection of pastries, croissants, baguettes, sandwiches & cakes to take out or experience one of the many spots to sit & enjoy with a coffee looking out towards the canal. An ideal location in the oldest Art Deco building in Montreal you will feel the history by browsing through the many shops afterwards.
Acheté un pain au fromage, non frais, très dur. Le service est très faible. Les gens aux caisses sont plus intéressé à parler entre-eux qu'à servir les clients. Première Moisson est un mythe!
The bread & croissants are very good here. There is a lot of variety & usually large selections, depending on the time of day. Where we find is sometimes hit or miss is when we order their premade sandwiches & croque monsieurs. For this reason, it's not our go to yet we have become a custom, too order things that please us.
