Great quality pastries, but carelessly packaged. We are frequent customers at Première Moisson because we truly appreciate the high quality of their products. The pastries are always fresh, made with excellent ingredients, & reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the service during our recent visit completely lacked care & attention.We purchased a total of seven items: three croissants, three pains au chocolat, & one croissant aux amandes. Instead of packaging them properly, the server squished all seven pastries into a single small bag. When we arrived home, we were incredibly disappointed to find that the croissants had been completely flattened. Seven delicate, flaky pastries easily deserved to be split into two or three different bags to avoid being crushed. We love the food here, but the staff needs to take much better care when handling & packaging the items.

Fresh! Amazing food for pastries & bread. Prices are not cheap... but they have promos at times that make it great value but other then that it's a bit pricy . But... the quality & the food is great ! 5/5 overall still

I thought I was having a bad day today. I had been to two highly rated places for breakfast & lunch & was let down in both. Finally, we came to Atwater Market & saw the pastries in here. We ordered eclairs & coffee. Finally, the server was so polite & caring. The quality of food was good & service was excellent. My day is finally back on track.

This bakery is a local landmark, absolutely unique it its selection & quality as well as its authentic vibe of French patisserie. The variety of sweet goodies, jams, & bread will have you coming back for more. We first came for bread (sour dough & croissants) & then came back for their Mille feuilles & eclairs. Perhaps next time we will try their new tarts🤤 You do have to make eye contact with the servers & yell out your order before making your way to the cash register. Not sure what the rules are but everyone just makes it work & everyone gets served. 👍
