This bakery is a local landmark, absolutely unique it its selection & quality as well as its authentic vibe of French patisserie. The variety of sweet goodies, jams, & bread will have you coming back for more. We first came for bread (sour dough & croissants) & then came back for their Mille feuilles & eclairs. Perhaps next time we will try their new tarts🤤 You do have to make eye contact with the servers & yell out your order before making your way to the cash register. Not sure what the rules are but everyone just makes it work & everyone gets served. 👍
Got billed for 5 croissants instead of 3, ordered espresso- got americano. Very disappointing..
The almond croissant was absolutely delicious! Although I don't speak French, the store staff made a great effort to communicate with me in English.
Large bakery inside Marche Atwater, offering bread, French pastries, cakes, coffees, cookies , sandwiches. Everything looked so fresh & yummy. The tartlettes were one of the best I've had in a long time. Friendly staff. Lots of seating area.
Cooked food, meats, salads in window, they warm up for you. For quick meal, good deal. In farmers market Atwater Marche (inside, at the west end, near WCs). Very nice ambience, local produce for sale, homemade things. (Not cheap, & some vegetables, not good...beware, be patient & look before buy). Service ok but a bit brusque. Serving size a bit small (for price). Seating outside is basic (not much seating inside). So, lower expectations, decent place for lunch.
Impressed by the service. Excellency should actually be the term that apply here. The pastry shop as well. However, without be a downer but rather the conveyer of my subjective truth, the New York cheesecake was, how can I say... Too cheese-ee. Sounds strange right since this is a cheesecake. Well believe it or not when there is an aftertaste following a bite, it actually points out to an ingredient that has been used in excess. Those of you who make this dessert home know what I mean. I just hope that this was a n accident & not the norm. I will be back to taste whether this was the case or the pastry chef misses the recipe on regular basis. All in all Premier Moisson is almost always a great experience.
Love their pastries & desserts! The only minus that came to my mind is that sometimes, when I came, they already sold out my favorite desserts. So, come early to see the whole assortment😉
Here you can buy fresh bread, ready-to-eat housemade food, cakes, chocolate, etc. I love the variety of fresh, nice bread you can find in this bakery. The baguettes are crunchy & tasty, plus you can get organic or gluten-free ones.
