This was my first disappointing experience at Poulet Rouge.
Service was slow, the food cold, & the chicken was dry.
I finished the meal because I was very hungry & don't like wasting food, but this was not the standard I usually associate with them.

Poulet Rouge in Complexe Desjardins has become one of my regular go-to lunch spots whenever I don't bring something from home. Being so close to work, it's very convenient, & I know I can count on getting a meal that's both quick & tasty. The staff here are consistently friendly & polite, & the service is impressively fast-even compared to the pace you usually expect from a busy food court. They manage to keep things moving smoothly, which is always appreciated on a short lunch break.
The food itself is exactly what I've come to expect from Poulet Rouge: fresh, well-prepared, & very flavorful. The chicken is delicious & seasoned well, & the bowls are customizable so you can mix things up depending on what you're in the mood for. It always hits the spot & leaves me satisfied.
That said, there is one drawback worth mentioning. If you've eaten at other Poulet Rouge locations, you may notice what I have-the portions here are noticeably smaller. The bowls don't feel quite as full as the ones served at other branches, which can be a little disappointing when you're expecting the same generous serving size. The taste makes up for it to a certain extent, but it's something regulars will definitely pick up on.
Overall, though, I enjoy eating here & will continue to stop by when I need a convenient & tasty lunch option. The friendly service, good flavor, & reliable experience make it a solid choice, even if the portion sizes aren't quite on par with other locations.
Even though we didn't speak French, the very kind, helpful & understanding people of this great place made every effort to guide us through our purchase. Had the delicious, tasty & filling bowl with the freshest & best tasting veggies, guacamole & sauces. Chicken in it was cooked to perfection. Requested the hottest spicy sauce & it was amazing. Absolutely loved this place, their food & the excellent service.
First Timer: We were walking around the mall & seen that this was one of the many places that had a long line. Once it shortened we decided to try it & I am so glad we did. The food is definitely chef kiss 💋!! Fresh!! Meat is Tender!! Run! Go! Now! No disappointment at all. 3 bowls 1 spicy chicken 10/10 1 BBQ 10/10 1 Garlic 10/10 The price was inexpensive & you get a lot of amazing food so it's was worth it. Once you pick the chicken & drink you move towards the line where you get to pick 6 different toppings that you would like to add. You are also asked about the sauce if you want it & they can also put it in a small to go container. 10/10 recommend. No disappointment here. So worth it.
Wonderful place!! Delicious, clean, affordable & so friendly!! Such fresh food, beautiful & delicious! The chef made my chicken to perfection fresh to order. The delightful cashier guided my through the fresh process. I could not believe how much food you get for the money. I could eat here every day! This team is the best!! I highly recommend!!
I ordered 2rouge bowls, one was decent with the garnishes but the other one was just few tomatoes & few cucumbers cubes & the lemon chicken was really salty. I know poulet rouge has become very popular but don't let the good standards fade away. I am disappointed because it is one of the only food delivery that I chose to have.
First time trying Poulet Rouge. Fries (I had poutine) were a little undercooked. Chicken was good. Did not care for the sauce on the poutine but that is just a taste thing. It was very busy & staff were very hard-working & pleasant. I was told to try it again with rice & other sides & I will definitely give it another try at my local Poulet Rouge. It's a huge hit with many friends.

One of the best Poulet Rouge in the town!! I went there at luch time & every single workers were friendly & showing a big smile on their face! The food was amazing. The chicken was well cooked, I will definitely go back.
Poulet Rouge is a culinary gem, delivering an exquisite food experience. Food for All- specially chicken with Salad & Quinoa & avocado for Gym Freeks, Chicken with Poutine for children, Regular & famous rice/bulgur bowl for everyone else. & even Veggie bowl for vegetarians peeps.
