Listen, i don't care who owns the name Maffeo's or which chef is there, the fact of the matter is this is some damn good fried chicken. We came while a local sports team was having a party, so you can really tell this is a mom & pop shop with real values that care about what they serve. Crispier than Yamcha's spine & juicier than Android 18, the family combo also packs a ton of value. My spice-loving girl was ACTUALLY satisfied (for once) with the spicy level of their hot oil. All in all, such wow, very value, much recommend.View more

Just the way I always wished to have it, simple & not complicated when it comes to both the food & conversation. I randomly dined-in at this chicken shop at night for the first time, I went in blind & asked for suggestions without even looking at the menu. They offered me some of the items on there & even extra for me to try! I was blown away by the overwhelmingly good-hearted staff before I even got my order. This was one of those shops that makes you feel at home & content just by sitting in it knowing that this kind of staff is around you to make sure you're taken care of. We were visiting in the area & stopped in for some poutine & we got the chicken sandwich & the poulet poutine. Both were so amazing. The chicken sandwich was so moist & perfectly seasoned. The layers & layers of cheese on the poutine was a very nice touch & the gravy & chicken bites weren't too salty. Everything was so delicious & fresh. The owners were super nice & so easy to deal with. 5 stars easily!View more

We visited for the first time today, & it exceeded all my expectations! Combining two of my favorite comfort foods-chicken & spaghetti-was a winning choice. The chicken was perfectly cooked: crispy on the outside, tender & juicy on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning. You can really taste the care they put into it. But what really surprised me was the spaghetti! It was flavorful & rich, with a sauce that was a perfect balance of savory & slightly sweet. The service was also top-notch. The staff was friendly & attentive, The portions were generous without being overwhelming, & the prices were very reasonable for the quality & quantity of food.
