Listen, i don't care who owns the name Maffeo's or which chef is there, the fact of the matter is this is some damn good fried chicken. We came while a local sports team was having a party, so you can really tell this is a mom & pop shop with real values that care about what they serve. Crispier than Yamcha's spine & juicier than Android 18, the family combo also packs a ton of value. My spice-loving girl was ACTUALLY satisfied (for once) with the spicy level of their hot oil. All in all, such wow, very value, much recommend.

Firstly, the staff is SO welcoming... I just had to give their restaurant a try. The chicken was flavourful, crispy & juicy! I highly recommend, you won't regret it!

The owners are very friendly & serve us as if we're in a five-star hotel! No words can express how happy I am to have found this restaurant nearby. They are very accommodating, & the food is so good! My favorite dish is the chicken & fries. I highly recommend eating here with your loved ones!

I recently dined here, & it was an amazing experience! The fried chicken was perfectly crispy & bursting with flavor, capturing the essence of Filipino comfort food. The friendly service & inviting atmosphere made it even better. Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious, authentic cuisine

I recently dined with family here, & had an outstanding experience. The high burger was flavorful & perfectly cooked, while the crispy chicken was delightfully crunchy & seasoned to perfection. The onion rings were a standout-crispy & delicious, & the French fries were golden & well-seasoned. The owner went above & beyond, generously providing a bubble bottle for my child, which was a thoughtful touch. Service was impeccable; the staff was attentive, regularly checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place for its excellent food & exceptional service

The fried chicken is really juicy, & the spicy version is really up my alley, without being too hot. The skin is crispy & crumbly, different from the onion rings' batter, which is more like a smooth fish-&-chips beer batter, with a nice crunch. The onion rings snap well, with no gluey stringy onions slipping out of their shell. Now I must try the rest of their menu! The owner & staff are jovial & funny, clearly proud & happy, & they should be because this is a special place full of heart. If you like tasty crunchy fried chicken & warm vibes, I highly recommend it.

The BEST fried chicken in MTL. Staffs are nice & welcoming. I really like the environment because even the kitchen is right there you can't even smell the smoke. Really recommend the fries too!

The chicken sandwich is a 10/10 Better than Jack le Coq even at its peak Highly recommend getting a spaghetti side, even if it sounds strange Everything tastes homemade. The special sauce is fantastic The staff is also extremely friendly!

Very happy with the quality of food & the customer service. The owners/ staff members are super friendly. Their chicken is Halal. I recommend 100%. I live far away from the store, but I will definitely come back for their chicken fry.

This is a standup joint. I had a problem with an Uber delivery. Since Uber wouldn't do anything about it, I called the restaurant. They took care of it, no questions. I fully realize that it was neither their responsibility nor their obligation to rectify the situation. Nevertheless, they did. Quality service. Excellent food. The owners clearly take pride in their work & value their customers. I can't recommend this place enough.

Better than those chained restaurants 100 times. Love this local place. Very friendly staff, yummy chicken. One thing I would highly recommend (especially to Asian people) is the special congee. Delicious!!!
