Absolutely amazing place!! The owner was there & helped us pick as we were there for the first time. The chicken is hot, crispy & juicy! The cajun spice has a kick & the taste is very good. The spiced fries & onion rings were crispy & well seasoned. The pieces were alot bigger then we were expecting as well. Well worth the visit!!

Poulet fou & frit has delicious fried chicken , very crispy outside & juicy inside. Service was excellent , everyone really made us feel welcome. The ambiance was friendly & the owner was very funny & electric. All in all a great evening.

Probably the best fried chicken in Montreal! Make sure you try the spicy one if you love spicy food. The chicken is juicy even the flour tastes great. & the pandan dessert is yummy too. Owners are all energetic & super nice! 100% recommend to who haven't tried it yet.

Our first time trying this place & when first greeted at the cash, it was very pleasant. Super nice man & you can tell he puts his love into the food. When we tried it at home, we loved it. Super juicy chicken & amazing fried crust on the outside. It costed 50$ for 10 pieces & we got a dessert. Will definitely be ordering again!!

We ordered the 15-pieces set. The fried chicken was quite juicy, regardless of the part. The flavouring is on the heavier side, i'd recommend have some spicy pieces, maybe half & half. Overall a nice place to eat if you are craving fried chicken.

I've always wanted to try their famous fried chicken, especially after reading many good reviews on little red book( a Chinese Instagram-ish app) ! Today is the day, finally! To be honest, it's a bit far to drive from downtown. It took me over 20 mins with slight traffic . When we got there , it was a little over noon, the whole restaurant smelled so good! The menu is pretty straightforward, either fried chicken solo or chiccken combo. I decided to go for the 8 pieces chicken solo , also the chicken bun bun , which turned out to be huge !! No kidding , one chicken bun is literally good enough for 2 personnes ! You could choose your fried chicken spicy or non spicy, of course, for me, I had to choose spicy as always ! The spicy chicken has an orange crusty skin on the outside, tender dark meat on the inside. crispy & juicy from first bite to last! So good 👍 I can't say more. I'm definitely gonna return whenever I want fried chicken 🍗

Food has always been fantastic & the staff are so hospitable & friendly. All the food is made to order so there's usually a 15-20 mins wait after you order. The dessert was really good ! Not too sweet, which was a nice surprise. My family usually offers the 10 piece combo with half spaghetti+ half fries, & there's more than enough leftovers for the next couple of days. The fried chicken is always perfectly juicy & the skin is very crispy, the fries are crunchy, the spaghetti is on the sweeter side (which my child loves), & the gravy is so tasty. Definitely need to try it if you're in the neighbourhood, I cannot recommend it more to anyone looking for a good fried chicken place.

There's lots of different fried chicken recipes in the world. If you're looking for the classic Southern style with buttermilk & heavy breading, then this isn't it. The batter they use at Maffeos produces a light, crisp crust from a mix of cornstarch &/or rice flour. This makes it far less oilier/heavier than the Southern style & they do it perfectly so the chicken still remains tender & juicy. Give it a try!!!
