The price used to be worth it but every time I come back the banchan get downgraded with cheaper ingredients. There used to be mac salad/interesting tofu dishes & now it's just a combo of vinegar+veggies or bland japchae
The service here is very good, & the meat was incredibleeeee! Plenty side dishes & salads that come with, it's reasonably priced if you come in big groups! Not much chicken options but the pork & beef are amazing

Good meat for the price. The mocktails were really good & cheap compared to other places. The sides for the combos are really good. I will highly recommend the side dish that comes with egg & cheese
The prices are actually very reasonable for the quality of the food. The tteokbokki is excellent & the gimmari is honestly next level. I also tried the doenjang-jjigae which was great. My friends loved the cuts of meat on the kbbq side. The banchan is unlimited & delicious - both types of onions are fantastic & the kimchi is really tasty.
Minji is an absolute superstar & made our experience so fun. She's incredibly charismatic & really great at her job. She better be well paid, if not, give this girl a raise!
I would have rated 5/5 out paticular waitress did not give the best service however the prices for the amount of delicious food you get is so worth it!
Came here with a few friends & from walking in the restaurant, it was very smokey. They clearly have a ventilation issue since there was definitely a lack of ventilation. I like how the sides are unlimited here & that they don't enforce each person ordering one meat portion unlike daldongnae. We started off strong with the sides which were good! We were disappointed with the amount of meat we received as it seemed quite pricey for the portion. The rose tteokbokki was ok & the fried chicken was tasty. The pajeon was very disappointing - too oily & too much batter. It wasn't light & crispy like I'm used to. The service was subpar as we often had to wave down the waiter since we were sat in the corner. Overall, my experience here was disappointing & you are better off going to daldongnae for a similar price a few minutes down the street with better meat quality & portion. Food was not great & restaurant had bad ventilation. Service was subpar.
My friends & I had a good time at Pony's. The interior design & our waitress, Eva, stole the show. The food was good, but not great, however, the servings were generous & reasonably priced. In my opinion, the beef "party for 2" is overly generous for two people. Lastly, ventilation is OK, but could be improved a little bit.
We celebrated a birthday at Pony BBQ Coréen, a restaurant I had been eager to visit for quite some time. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the unique decor, which added a charming vibe to our dining experience. The menu was extensive & priced similarly to other BBQ places in the area. Arriving shortly after opening, we enjoyed the benefit of having the place mostly to ourselves. The service was fantastic-attentive & friendly-though I can't speak to the experience during busier times. As expected with BBQ restaurants, be prepared to leave smelling like BBQ smoke, which is something we were well aware of beforehand. One minor issue was that several of the meat cuts were still slightly frozen, possibly due to our early arrival. Overall, we had a great experience at Pony BBQ Coréen & look forward to visiting again to try more dishes from their menu!

An absolute banger. Being a fan of korean BBQ, it's really a perfectly managed restaurant : EXTREMELY generous for the price, the service was top notch & perfectly coordinated. The music fit the place like a glove & was not too loud! So do yourself a service, & go. No reasons NOT to go! Gongratz to this gem!
Food was average. Service was lack luster. Server had to verify 2 times what we ordered (claimed he was new). Atmosphere was alright. probably the better part of the resto. Food was WAY overpriced. 80$ for a 2 person platter with very limited meat (6 slices a person). Even drinks there are overpriced. Final price with one platter, 3 drinks & one Kimchi bowl came to 145$. All in all, visit another Korean BBQ place.
Good food, all basics are there. Great vibrant ambience just like the South Korea's nightlife. Fun time! Service is friendly & fast. Price is reasonable. Watch out..The oily floor gets pretty slippy with all the BBQs cooking around.
I wish I could put 10 stars on this review. The food was so tasty & worth the price, the staff was so nice & fun, & the atmosphere made me want to stay here forever. I can't wait to come here again! VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY SPECIAL SHOUTOUT TO: Alex, the sweetest (not to mention beautiful) server who came over to us JUST to tell us she liked our group Will, our amazing server who put up with out many demands, with a smile! Van, who even though was very busy, came & took a picture of us for my friend's birthday (love her tattoos btw) & last but certainly not least, JP the best manager EVER TO EXIST!!!! He is doing an awesome job at managing this place, KEEP IT UP JP!!! Genuinely made our day, this was the best birthday ever!! Thank you to all the chefs as well, the food was so amazing, & we LOVED the dessert (great job on the coulis, it went super well with the hotteok & ice cream) :)))
