I had the rose tteokbokki - creamy, slightly spicy, & sooo comforting 🤍 - & the cheese corn, which was perfectly melty & indulgent. Honestly, the perfect combo.
The cocktails were also delicious 🍸✨

Nice Korean BBQ place with a really cool atmosphere. When you walk in, it actually feels like being in Korea: they have screens that look like the subway or Incheon Airport, which is a fun detail. The restaurant is big & spacious, which is great whether you come alone, with two people, or with a group. We were five & it was very comfortable.
The menu has a lot of choice. We took a combo for five people & there was more than enough food. You get a lot of meat plus three side dishes. We chose the corn (really good) & the budae-jjigae (army stew).
About the budae-jjigae: it was okay, but if you've had it in Korea, you'll probably be disappointed. The ramen noodles felt a bit low quality & there was no cheese, so it didn't really taste like the real thing.
The meat itself was very good, & grilling it was fun. The side dishes are refillable, which is a big plus, especially the glass noodles & cucumber. The kimchi was a bit tasteless for me (not very spicy or fermented), better when grilled than eaten as is.
Service was a bit mixed. When the grill got dirty, no one changed it unless we asked. Also later, when it got busier, it felt like only one of the two servers was really working, so things were slower.
One downside is the ventilation because there are extractors over the tables, but they were surprisingly off. Better to put your jacket away.
Overall, good food, nice vibe, generous portions. With better service & ventilation, it would be even better.

We had a great time at Pony BBQ! The vibes were great, the food was delicious & the staff was very friendly. Thank you Van for the excellent service - can't wait to be back!
wow. wow. wow. Me & my friend was recommended to go there & we were NOT disappointed! When u enter it's a whole new vibe. The staff was incredible, especially Brandon our server who was checking on us the whole time, very nice & kind over the clients!
we took the bavette & it came with a very generous amount of free food😍
so generous that we couldn't even finish our main meals.. lol

If you want to experience real Korean BBQ, I recommend this place. After taking a bite of the corn cheese, I felt like I was back in Korea. I was happy that all the food was exactly like what I would eat in Korea, & the vibe was also quite cute 😆 👍👍

Great vibes & the service was perfect, fast & super welcoming staff & the portions were amazing.
Little smokey inside due to how full the restaurant was but besides that I can't think of anything but positive things.
We were such a big group, all of us from the service industry, & I have to say that the service from our waitress (Van) was exceptional! Great vibes from her in addition to her attention to our needs. Will definitely come back & recommend to everybody, especially for her! Bravo
Wow what a great evening, food quality & portions, restaurant vibe, & welcoming service. Took the special combo for 2 people at $45/person. If I ever go back to Montreal, I'd come to this restaurant again. Highly recommended.
We celebrated a birthday at Pony BBQ Coréen, a restaurant I had been eager to visit for quite some time. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the unique decor, which added a charming vibe to our dining experience. The menu was extensive & priced similarly to other BBQ places in the area. Arriving shortly after opening, we enjoyed the benefit of having the place mostly to ourselves. The service was fantastic-attentive & friendly-though I can't speak to the experience during busier times. As expected with BBQ restaurants, be prepared to leave smelling like BBQ smoke, which is something we were well aware of beforehand. One minor issue was that several of the meat cuts were still slightly frozen, possibly due to our early arrival. Overall, we had a great experience at Pony BBQ Coréen & look forward to visiting again to try more dishes from their menu!

Mix-&-match your fixings to try new flavor combinations & have a good time. That's exactly what you're looking for... the feeling of a backyard bbq with a friendly vibe & good time, surrounded by great decore & freshly cooked meat slathered in delicious trimmings. & take friends or family... this isn't something to be missed without sharing plates & having fun.
Highly recommend the rice cake! We shared party for 4 & ordered extra. The meat quality was great & the cocktail gave me a surprise too. The vibe was excellent & maybe it was just me feeling not good with the smoke which should be there forming the nice vibe🥹
First time at a Korean BBQ & what a fun time it was. The ambiance gives a Neo Seoul vibe. The food was great & the service too. Kevin made our experience great!
Great food, great service, & very cool vibe here. My only criticism is that the ventilation system is on the ceiling, so it can get a bit smoky from the grills.
