Great customer service! I ordered macarons for my friend's birthday, & they shipped the package right away. Even though we had an issue during the delivery process, Point G was very good at communicating with me & provided updates the entire time. I am very pleased with their friendliness, professionalism, & ability to resolve an issue right away. In the end, my friend was able to pick out macarons from the shop directly & loved every flavor!
After asking Gemini for a Montreal equivalent to Ladurée in Paris, Point G'Plaisirs Gourmands' topped the list, & they didn't disappoint. These are some of the best macarons we've ever had.
However, the experience fell short of'gourmet' due to unnecessary friction. Charging $1 for a bag after a $40 purchase, & requiring a separate transaction for it only after asking for a bag, breaks a basic rule of customer experience: reduce friction.
While some customers prefer to bring their own bags, to each their own; for a gourmet shop, a bag should be a seamless inclusion, not a secondary hurdle. The cost could easily be baked into the product price to maintain a smooth customer journey one expects.
Besides, they got all the order right, except for the Strawberry Hearts that seems were deliberately replaced with Matcha. Maybe they ran out. Shouldn't be an issue, but on Valentine's Day, I would have expected a heads up regarding the change when I came to pick up the order, not discover later when opening the box at home.

The place to go in Montreal for authentic French macarons. They have a variety of flavourful & colourful macarons which taste like dessert without being too sweet.
Holiday season is two weeks away, so I'm already on my festive diet: one cappuccino, three macarons, & zero regrets. Matcha, lychee-raspberry & candy-cane… my kind of winter workout. 😬

The Best fresh & Tasty macarons in Montreal. Ive had this Since 2016, they have so many flavours to choose from.. they've got the best cream cheese macarons. Not too sweet.

Je me suis laissé tenter par leur promotion 1$ le macaron & je suis franchement déçue, j'en ai même offert en cadeau & elle ne les a pas aimé. Le goût n'était pas à la hauteur de mes attentes.
