Review Summary

Reviews portray Pizzeria Napoletana as a warm, bustling Italian spot in Little Italy known for authentic Neapolitan pizza straight from a wood fired oven, with crusts described as thin and crisp and toppings fresh and plentiful, plus satisfying desserts like tiramisu and strong espresso. The atmosphere is repeatedly praised as cozy and family friendly, with a lively terrace at times, and the BYOB policy along with a nearby wine shop is widely appreciated. Service is a mix; many find it friendly, attentive and efficient, even when crowded, while others report slow or impersonal service and occasional missteps. Food quality is generally high, especially pizzas and pastas, though a few visits note inconsistencies such as pizza that is over or undercooked, or garnishes and temperature not up to expectations. Overall, Pizzeria Napoletana is regarded as a Montreal institution worth visiting for a flavorful, affordable Italian meal, with many patrons returning, while others suggest visiting off peak hours or opting for takeout during busy times to avoid longer waits.

I visited this pizzeria today at around 3Pm. I ordered a Margherita, the pizza was ready in about 12 minutes.

I have to first mention the crust, it had the perfect texture with beautiful leopard spotting, a good crunchy underbite & a nice distinguish scent that you get from wood oven. The sauce, you could tell that this sauce was made with San Marzano tomatoes, I dont claim to know it, I havent asked the owner thats just what I think. I think that because the sweetness of the sauce matched perfectly with the cheese.
The cheese was covered with more sauce, I wasnt sure why they did this but it turned out to be super great. I would go eat there again for sure. I recommend to anyone looking for a pizza made with quality ingredients over the quantity. Cant wait to go back!
