Considering the prices, the food was mediocre. Except the chicken, which was tender & succulent, everything else was below average. My colleges took pasta, it was nothing spectacular & not much inside of it besides pasta to justify those prices. & why in the world would a good chef blend potatoes instead of mashing them? It releases that strach & becomes all gooey. Don't come here if you want some amazing food. The place isn't big & it's loud.Voir plus

I went to Moretti with colleagues this week for lunch. I had: CANESTRI VODKA Homemade canestri, vodka, Pomodoro, "cacio e pepe crema". When my plate arrived - it looked incredible however the amount of chili flakes & pepper corns practically destroyed the dish. There should be a "spicy" icon on the menu, informing guests about the spiciness. Perhaps the chef was heavy handed & this was a one-off? Who knows!Voir plus

Upscale Italian restaurant in downtown Montreal. Atmosphere is very warm & chic. I had the truffle/burrata/mushroom pizza & really enjoyed it. The restaurant is pricey for pizza & pasta, but it's good quality. Worth it!Voir plus

Fantastic restaurant! Everything at Moretti was perfect-delicious food, a cozy atmosphere, & excellent service, especially from Hamza, the manager & the waitress Emilie. The truffle pasta & pizza were amazing, & the tiramisu was a real highlight. I'll definitely be back!Voir plus

While the food was good the service wasn't great, & they were quite sneaky I was alone at the bar, ssked if I wanted still water, I said yes When I lift my head up from looking at the menu I notice a 750ml glass bottle of imported Italian water When I looked left & right they did it to every other (solo) pero at the bar Later the boss/owner/manager (he knew every employee) walked round the back, took a 3/4 full bottle of expensive imported Italian water(presumably from a recently departed patron), & sat at the bar & poured himself a glass It's a bit of a sales racket But to finish on a good note, the food was goodVoir plus

I recently ate at Moretti Downtown, & the food was really good! Every dish we tried was flavorful & well-prepared. However, the atmosphere was a bit too loud for my liking. It was hard to have a conversation without raising our voices, which made the dining experience less relaxing. The place has a lively vibe, but if you're looking for a quieter setting, it might not be the best option.Voir plus
