One of the best Italian restaurants with affordable price. Pizzas & pastas are very good! Nice staff. Service is good. They have a small bar with a variety of Italian alcoholic drinks wine, beer, & other drinks. I've been there more than 20 times, never disappoints! A must-try!!!
The food was delicious & the atmosphere was lovely, but the service experience was very uncomfortable as Tips are enforced.
After paying, my server returned to the table to contest the tip amount, insisting on a specific percentage & I felt forced to pay more. I don't mind paying for good food, but being pressured at the table to meet a specific tip quota is a major turn-off.
My wife & I was staying at the Manoir Sherbrooke hotel & as we were checking in asked about food in the vicinity. & the front desk recommended pizzeria dei compari. Coming from Brooklyn it was cold in NY when we left but a little colder here in Montreal. About a 10 to 15min walk we entered & immediately was greeted & enjoyed great customer service. My wife enjoyed the snail pizza escargot & I had the spaghetti & meat sauce tasty! & house wine red great tasting. Highly recommended when in Montreal.

Service médiocre de la part d'un monsieur qui se promenait dans le restaurant depuis notre arrivée. Je ne pense pas que ce soit un serveur, car le serveur qui s'est occupé de nous était très aimable. Par contre, le monsieur avec la chemise noire ne semble pas connaître les bases du service à la clientèle & passait surtout son temps à discuter avec ses collègues, en plus d'un geste déplacé de sa part. Nous ne sommes visiblement pas les premiers clients à subir ce genre de comportement, d'après les anciens avis après vérification. En tout cas, nous ne reviendrons plus
Great restaurant, great food, great service! There's often a bit of a wait to get a table, but it's definitely worth it!! The pizzas are delicious, so are the pastas, & the meats!! Portions are great, prices are great!
Nous avons commandé une pizza & un espresso.Arrêtez de dire le contraire, cela devient vraiment n'importe quoi. J'ai d'ailleurs gardé une photo que je partagerai également pour montrer la réalité.
Détrompez-vous également sur un point : vous n'êtes pas le serveur qui nous a servis. Le serveur qui s'est occupé de nous a clairement vu que j'avais la boîte avec moi & je lui ai expliqué la situation. Il n'y avait aucun problème de son côté & nous avons tout de même passé commande d'une pizza & d'un espresso.
Dire le contraire aujourd'hui revient simplement à déformer les faits.
De plus, je ne suis clairement pas la première personne à me plaindre de ce genre de comportement. Il suffit de regarder les avis plus bas pour constater que d'autres clients ont vécu des situations similaires.
Par exemple, un autre client expliquait qu'il avait simplement apporté un soda pour son petit enfant tout en passant une commande, & cela a également posé problème. Le vrai problème ici n'est pas la commande, mais votre attitude & votre comportement envers la clientèle.
Par ailleurs, vous vous êtes même permis de bloquer mon compte, ce qui m'empêchait de répondre ou d'expliquer la situation. J'ai donc dû utiliser un autre compte pour pouvoir rétablir la vérité. Ce genre de pratique ne correspond pas non plus à un service à la clientèle transparent & respectueux.
Dans tous les cas, cette expérience reste très décevante, notamment à cause de l'attitude de la personne en chemise noire qui semblait plus occupée à discuter avec ses collègues qu'à offrir un service client respectueux.
First time here. The waiter is a gem & made our dinner experience fantastic. Had the eggplant parmesan & it was the best, piping hot. The fettuccine Alfredo was super creamy & delicious. Thank you for a awesome meal.
We loved the pizza so much that it's become our Friday ritual to order it. There's usually a long line, especially at night. Also, try the crème brûlée - they make it really well!
I like the staff there, & I really enjoy the outdoor seating in the summertime. It really captures the vibes of Saint-Denis.
