One of the best Italian restaurants with affordable price. Pizzas & pastas are very good! Nice staff. Service is good. They have a small bar with a variety of Italian alcoholic drinks wine, beer, & other drinks. I've been there more than 20 times, never disappoints! A must-try!!!
Great restaurant, great food, great service! There's often a bit of a wait to get a table, but it's definitely worth it!! The pizzas are delicious, so are the pastas, & the meats!! Portions are great, prices are great!
Also note they don't take reservations!

If you're in or around the centre ville of Montreal after great pizza or pasta look no further than this wonderful family run restaurant. It can be busy at the weekend but it's worth the effort.
The staff are friendly & attentive. The atmosphere is lively & the food is simply excellent. Well cooked, tasty & great size portions. We liked it so much on our first visit at the weekend we went again during the week which was quieter but the food & service were still up to the same standard.
Highly recommended.
It was quite busy, so thats always a good sign. Got a small table in the corner, had the pasta carbonara & my buddy a pizza (capri? The shrimp one). It was amazing, can recommend it!
Place was packed but we were lucky & got a recently vacated table by the window. Asked the lovely server which pizza she recommends & suggested to add bacon to it. It was also cut in half:). It was probably the best pizza I've ever had. Another server came & we ordered fettuccine with smoked salmon based on his resounding recommendation. I was hesitant because I normally like thin pastas but decided to try anyway. Boy, was I glad I did. The pasta was very fresh & portion was generous but we finished all of it.
The food was so good that I didn't even finish my Pinot Grigio!
You never regret a Dei Compari pizza & pasta ! & you have to get both! The food is fresh & excellent, the wait staff are warm, welcoming & familial. This is a family business serving Montreal for decades; perfect for locals & tourists !
Always Always Always an amazing experience. I love the service, & the food is always so fresh. Our waiters Paul was fantastic 👏 We had the pizza of the month for a Pizza contest, the best pizza in Mtl Along with pasta, Ceasar Salad, garlic bread, & arancini ( I do wish it was a bit more crispy) We were 2, ate like champions, & spent 78$! It's worth every penny Go try it out their food & vote for Pizzeria Dei Compari

Amazing restaurant! Friendly staff & delicious pizza. At first, I wanted to try one of their pasta dishes but then I decided to order a pizza as they specialize in that. My family & I ordered the four-cheese pizza, the pepperoni, & the Nutella one. The four-cheese & the pepperoni ones were formidable! Very very tasty. I don't recommend the Nutella one though, as the pizza was very dry & had little amount of Nutella on top. Next time I go there I'll have their lava cake as a dessert instead. Anyway, we had a great time! Highly recommend it.
This place deserves more clout the pizza is bomb - we got the smoked salmon pizza & pasta & they were generous with the salmon portions 🤩 the pizza was thin crust THE BESTTT & they included taxes in all the prices, such good value highly recommend 🤌🫶
Mtl best kept secret! You dont go there for the vibe, its a basic family, old school looking place. But the food is absolutely incredible. The wood fire pizza is for me the best in town, the pasta is sublime! Great service! Used to be an older staff but theyve now sprinkled some youth in there. Same great hospitality. A must!!
Had a homophobic experience here. It's not always that one gets stares from entitled mid aged caucasian couples for a full hour , for sure an experience to remember! Pasta was okay at best
