Review Summary

Pizza Toni is widely celebrated as one of the best spots in Montreal for New York style pizza, praised for its thin, crispy crust, high-quality ingredients, and perfect balance of sauce and cheese. Many diners highlight the pepperoni, spicy honey, and vodka-based slices as standouts, often pairing them with the highly recommended house dipping sauces. While the restaurant is frequently described as busy with a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere and efficient, friendly staff, the compact size of the space and occasional long wait times are noted by some. Despite a few mixed experiences regarding pricing, delivery consistency, or specific taste preferences, the vast majority of visitors consider the food a must-try staple and frequently return for the consistent quality and flavor.

Very good pizza! Nothing can go wrong with the classic! The margarita is too good.

After 3 orders, I cannot recommend the square pizzas. Twice now I've received pizzas where the bottom crust was dense & flat with no air volume. The rim had minimal crispness & the underside was all soft with no browning.

I know it's not supposed to to be like this because the first one I've received was incredible & didn't have these issues. I've never had this happen ordering a square vodka pizza elsewhere either.

While I can't say what causes this, I do know that given the premium price they shouldn't be serving this.

It's a shame too because the toppings are great, although I think just a few more pepperoni slices would be a tiny change that improves the pizza a lot.

Le service rapide & la pizza est excellente 👌🍕 L'emplacement as des places limité pour manger mais l'ambiance est tout de même agréable

The New York slice was not the best I've had but it's a somewhat cheap slice to just try in the area if you are wanting some pizza. Maybe the Sicilian slice would be a better choice

The few times I've passed by this place it has always been reasonably busy, so I had some expectations based on the hype. My review is very subjective as I am not too much of a fan of this style of thin, crispy pizza. I favour a thicker, softer pizza personally. I went for the Vodka pep slice. The ingredients were good, tasty sauce but I felt like the cheese was too light for my liking & the overall crispy texture of the pizza just wasn't for me. Service was acceptable, they managed the high demand well. I like the interior set up including the sink to get the grease off your hands before you leave.

I really don't get what's so special about this place. The food is okay, but stingy on the toppings, very thin crust (I guess that's what people look for in a'NYC' style pizza), a bit pricey for smallish slices but it is an expensive neighborhood. The sauce was kinda nice. Really shows you the power of proper marketing.
