$8 for one single slice of pizza...... pizzaflation has gotten out of hand.
Meilleures pizza à Montréal. J'y retourne souvent. Les pointes alldress sont super bonne.
First time trying out this place, we were out buying flowers for mothers day then we decided to stop at this small restaurant. The pizza is delicious , there's a lot of sauce on each slice & they're very tasty. I definitely recommand & will be back.
Nous avons pris une pizza au chorizo, moyenne, malheureusement la pâte était TRÈS cru pas juste un petit peut. À ce prix là... la moindre des choses seraient de bien cuire la nourritures. Les Cannolis par contre était délicieux & généreux.
This is a place worthy of going out of your way just to eat their food! What an opening line right? But it's true. I have had difficulty finding decent pizza restaurants serving quality ingredients, where you can actually see & taste the sauce, where the cheese is plentiful, & the toppings are delicious & plentiful as well as a crust you want to save for last. Well, Pizza Mia hits the spot. The place is quite busy on weekends when I went, & the line was long but it went by quickly as they really know how to move people around. Their food is displayed beautifully & in a way that prevents customer contamination as it's well covered yet you can see it - it actually reminded me of the type one can see in Italy with all the large portioned items like sandwiches, arancini, calzone, & so much more. I'm typically not a veggie pizza perso.n but I tried both of their varieties & was amazed at how fantastic it was, especially the one with the onions & tomatoes with zucchini & much more. Their slices are a very good size & hefty. Their arancini (Italian rice balls stuffed with cheese & deep fried) with a most delicious tomato sauce. Both the regular cheese as well as the ricotta & spinach were excellent & plentiful - a must to eat. So, two slices of pizza, two arancini, & one Brio side cake to $21.95, add the tax & your up to $25.25. Pre covid this would have been a slight less expensive I think - however in this marketplace I believe this is very good value given that the food is of such a high quality in every aspect. The atmosphere is actually cool for a market & makes it fun to watch all the people pass by, or go down the stairs near the cash register & there are some larger tables with more privacy. My hat is off to these restauranteurs for providing product & price to create good value to the point you yearn for more.
Great pizza place. Been going there for over 10 years but decided to make a review now. Lots of different kind of pizzas but the one I can't get over is their "Bacon & Onion" pizza! 8 square slices for about 15$ CAD. Feeds 2 people.
If you go when it's busy & the pizza is fresh it's delicious & you can understand why the line is so long. Probably best slice of cheese pizza I remember buying lately
One of the best pizza in MTL. The pizza is so fresh & delicious! I like cheese pizza the most.
One of the best pizza spots in montreal. I've been coming here for years & it never gets old. So many options for the square pizzas as well.
Delicious slice of pizza, the vegetarian #2 was exquisite. Great price for the quality too.
A bit pricy, & pricing isn't as clear as it should be. Pizza by the slice is sold in traditional points/ triangles, as well as rectangles, & small individual pizzas. Perhaps put prices on display case in front of each format? Place has been clean each time I have been there. It appears that Pizza Mia does a lot with the small space they have. There is a lot of selection. Nice to have a number of vegetarian choices available. As others have noted in their comments, there are issues from the start of the line when a person orders & the slice is taken from the display case, to the end of the line when a person pays & is given the slice. Multiple times when I go to pay, I tell them what I ordered & they go prepare another slice (which is a different pizza than I ordered) rather than bringing me what I ordered. It seems just giving customers a number to give to the cashier, & keeping the number with the slice(s) ordered; or some other basic protocol would be a very easy fix. This takes a lot of time when correcting the order & often correcting the bill too. As well as creating needless aggravation & congestion in a small space. It seems it would not take much for Pizza Mia to notably improve operations & overall customer experience.
One of the busier establishments of Atwater Market, especially in Summer & for good reason. Pizza Mia offers as close as you can get to an authentic Italian Pizzeria experience in Montreal. From the genuine Foccacia baked pizzas to the tasty arancinis - I felt like I was back in Rome. Service was great as well.
