At Pincette- Lobster Bar, transport yourselves to a chic lobster shack in the East Coast of Canada. With lobster as the main item on the menu, our restaurant presents a variety of unique dishes including lobster poutine, lobster pasta, lobster mac and cheese, as well as classic dishes such as lobster rolls and of course, whole lobster. Enjoy a full raw bar as well as a range of seafood platters including Fish & Chips, linguine with clams and oysters.

My husband & I ordered the clam chowder , the seafood inside were not fresh... very disappointing 😞

The food was absolutely delicious! I'm always a bit skeptical when it comes to sea food but I must say I was very surprised!! Definitely would recommend this place to my friends!! Thank you Luca for making my experience memorable :)

Everything from our greeting at the door to paying our check was enhanced by Juliette's friendly & conscientious care of us. The food was delicious & beautifully presented, coffee & water were kept filled, always with a smile. This was a lovely setting for the remainder of our journey! Thank you!

Cute little seafood restaurant on Rue St Paul that is known for its lobster rolls. We've been there multiple times & always had good food & great service.
The wine list is limited but adequate. Ambiance is casual.

C'était ma premiere fois à la pincette mais ca ne sera définitivement pas la dernière!
Le service est impeccable

Nous avons commandé le plateau avec plusieurs sortes de produits de la mer, un vrai délice.
J'ai particulièrement aimé l'ambiance de la place, chaleureux mais toutefois élégant. Bref 10/10

We've been to this restaurant for a brunch. We ordered orange & passionfruit smoothie, which was very delicious. For main course we ordered lobster poutine with hollandaise cheese, which was very delicious & I really love it & waffles with chicken, which was OK but the chicken was way too crispy for me. The service was good. It was a bit slow because we went on the weekend & it was very busy there, but the atmosphere was nice.

First of all, my waiter was a delight! From the moment I sat down he was already charming, funny & delightful. He gave me great advice for the special appetizer (which was, indeed, special & tasty) & helped me pair it with a delightful Chablis. He stayed on top of my table all night & I didn't want for anything.
The atmosphere was ok. A bit bright, a bit cheesy (lobster cages around the light fixtures), a worn-in look that was nicely executed.
I had the special appetizer: a halibut ceviche with radishes & caviar. Very tasty indeed!
Then I had the mussels. The portion was VERY generous as was the accompanying frites. But, MAN, I hate when the fries are the best thing in front of you. The mussels were…bland. I mean no garlic, no floating bits of oil, no umami underlying taste, no brinieness (is that a word?) Just…blah. I have to say that a French restaurant needs to have a few things that KILL. One is the onion soup, the other is the mussels. If those are'meh' then there is NO WAY I'm coming back to try something else.
I wanted to love this place but I have to lump it in with the other tourist places in Old Montreal; promising, just not very great.

We ordered the soup & ratatouille to start which were a perfect beginning to a beautiful meal. The main course of ½ Lobster & Lobster Poutine were out of this world. By far our best meal in Canada so far. Perfect location in Montreal old town surrounded by beautiful buildings, we would definitely say the walk from our hotel was worth it. Everything was topped off by the wonderful service we received from Vana who couldn't do enough for us. She was so friendly, cheerful & helpful throughout the meal. If you're in Montreal definitely put this place on your list.
