Family BBQ’s have always been the highlight of every summer, cooking good food and creating memories with our friends and family are the moments that we thrive for! With all the fun, we dreaded saying goodbye at the end of the night. Once the pandemic hit, we were no longer able to enjoy eachother’s company. Instead of our traditional gatherings, we would send food and care packages to our love ones to let them know that everything will be okay.. After the great feedback from our family, the idea for Pimento’s was born!

not exactly the type of place you'd dine in at, since it only has a small table that fits 2 people in the corner. did that stop me & my friend from taking the only 2 spots in the restaurant? it did not. anyways, food's amazing, workers are great people. ordered the goat curry & my friend got the jerk chicken. the flavour on the jerk chicken was insane. if you had to chose between the goat curry & jerk chicken (assuming you've never had either), definitely pick the jerk chicken you won't be disappointed

Had the jerk chicken plate & it hit the spot. Chicken was tender & had the right amount of spicy. Absolutely crushed the plate & will definitely be back for more.
Everything about this spot was great. I wished they also had chicken patties & offered family sizes for jerk chicken! A plate should come with plantains & dumplings, that's a must.
Amazing quality food, very tasty, & great service. Family's in the back cooking it up, that's how you know it's authentic. Come here all the time when I'm down visiting from Toronto
Ordered the large Jerk Chicken plate, for take out. Very happy with it. Great flavour, spicy but not crazy. They gave me a couple plantations, & some festivals (fried dough). The rice with beans was good. I'd go there again, even serve it at a party, with some Pina Coladas, or Bahamas mamas.
Incredible food I'm still dreaming about the jerk bbq chicken, it's a must try. My only complaint is the macaroni salad, tastes like mustard & I hate mustard. Wish it was Mac & cheese instead, would slap so hard with the meat.
Really impressed with the quality of the food! Ordered a large jerk chicken plate - the chicken was spicy, well seasoned & exceptionally moist & fall off the bone. Rice & peas was tasty, plantains had a great taste, the festivals (which I've never tasted before) was unexpectedly delicious, & the coleslaw brought a nice tang & was very well seasoned & added a nice texture to the meal. Overall, really impressed with the food!

I'd like to give a huge shoutout to Matthew & his team at Pimentos. Not only do they provide great customer service, they are both quick & prompt at addressing any issue you may have. The food here is divine & the Jerk Chicken is a must try!! Can't wait to be back !!! -Tim
Great diner! The food was delicious & the serving sizes were great. Two critiques I would have regarding this place would be that the potatoes they gave were a little too salty. It's best to serve something with a little less salt because more salt can always be added however if something has too much salt it's pretty much doomed at that point to be able to reduce it. Secondly the staff forgot that we also were supposed to be given two standard hot black coffees based on our orders but never provided it until asked. At one point I asked a passing by hostess to refill my coffee & she said sure & walked away just to never come back so I had to ask someone else.
Wow! We've been looking for some good Caribbean food on the WI & came across Pimento's today, so we decided to order in. Great presentation, authentic taste, & fresh produce. We will definitely be ordering again in the near future.
The food was good but expensive for the quantity I got. I usually eat my Haitian & other African or Caribbean for 2 or 3 days. I spent over $35 & it didn't last me for more than a day.
Bouffe jamaicaine à son meilleur. On sais très bien que la place au pays où on retrouve le plus de restos des caraïbes est dans le GTA mais maintenant on peux compter sur cet endroit pour satisfaire nos cravings de bouffe à la jerk. Les pâtés sont croustillant, frais & délicieux. Le staff est incroyable. Amateurs, allez y, ça vaut vraiment la peine de faire un tour.
I was actually kinda just browsing on Uber & came across Pimentos. I didn't know what it was so I googled it, & I'm glad I did! I saw some amazing reviews & saw someone I know write a great review, so I knew I had to try. Everything was amazing! It tasted so fresh & everything was so full of flavor. The rice & peas weren't dry. Omg the jerk chicken is sooo juicy & tasty 😋 I also ordered extra plantains because they're my favorite & they were soo good. Fish cakes were also amazing. I'm so happy I found this place & I will definitely come by for more 💓 thank you
