cafe(49) event(44) recommend(33) coffee(31) breakfast(28) beautiful(26) brunch(26) decor(26) club(20)I'm not sure if the menu at all Pigeon cafes has changed or if it's just this location, but it was a smaller menu than the one in St-Laurent had a few weeks ago, so I didn't find the waffle covered in fruit I was craving. Also the tables were so close together you have to move the tables to get to the seat & your junk was still rubbing on both tables. Which made people visibly uncomfortable & self aware(& that was the skinny folk of which we are not). I wonder what the firemarshall would think. I can't imagine what would happen in a fire wouldn't end up being safe. The food was ok. The breakfast sandwich was good, but came with cheese we didn't notice on the menu(not great when you have food restrictions), & overcooked breakfast potatoes.View more
Pleasantly surprised with cafe. The green juice was my favourite.View more
I have been here multiple times for lunch. The sandwiches are ok. Recently, I went here for Friday dinner & drinks with my girls. We ordered shrimp cocktail, salmon tartare, & some dish which served grilled chicken with veggies. Shrimp cocktail was the most lame dish I ever had - they served 6 cold shrimps - without any marination or flavor - with ketchup in the glass!!! Ketchup!!! Basically, the chef did zero effort for that one. Salmon tartare was the worst Salmon tartare I consumed in my life. Only thing worth having was the grilled chicken. The drinks were ok. Ambience was fantastic - the place has good vibes, awesome servers but food wise they have to put more work.View more
I had mixed experiences. I went on Mother's Day & it was fantastic! What an ambiance & all of our food was so fresh & delicious. I had the shakshouka & yellow smoothie. I raved to everyone I knew. We went back for Fathers Day & it was not at all as I expected. Our latte's were room temperature & in my opinion nothing special. Our pancakes were only 2( I thought we would be getting 3) & they were soaked in syrup when we got them, I mean soaked! I was u see the impression we could pour the amount we wanted. The merguez sausage was dry & tasted like cheap quality meat, I was embarrassed because I praised my halloumi shakshouka we previously ordered & this was 😕.. not so good. The poached eggs in them were way over cooked. Also the challah bread got dry & cold before we even got to the dish & I ordered double bread. My shooey bagel was like overcooked dry egg( no yolk whatsoever) when I ordered poached . ( 😒 annoyed) & the bacon was chewy & fatty, almost microwave tasting. The first time we tried bacon is was great ( I think my mother told them extra crispy). The bagel & sour dough was very hard & dry. I hate to be so negative when I was so proud of it on Mother's Day, but I was actually embarrassed when I brought my family there this time. But.. breakfast potatoes were consistent & delicious! Oh & my yellow smoothie this time ( again I originally bragged about it) was almost a juice that ONLY tasted like orange. I didn't taste any ginger or turmeric. ( I feel like they screwed up & gave me fresh squeezed orange juice) but it almost had a commercial OASIS O.J taste 😐 This was at the West Island LocationView more
We hosted my baby shower this past weekend in the private room & couldn't be happier with the experience & service. It was a pleasure working with Sean the past couple of months. He was very attentive & make sure all our needs were met. The day of the event, everything was perfect from the delicious breakfast food, to our waitress Olivia who was very accommodating, pleasant & a sweetheart. I highly recommend organizing your event there, you won't be disappointed. Thanks again Sean!View more
Was nice, we had some suggestions about the menu & the service. We appreciated that Sean the manager came to see us, he was proffetional with a weet smile, he took the menu suggestions in consideration & gave us some explanations about the service. We wish that his warm smile will be contagious to his personnel cause our waitress was a bit cold & lacking some customer service training. Bravo Sean, u succeded to let us leave with a good impression & satisfaction 👌View more
Food & atmosphere is very good but service is very slow & the wine glasses are TINY & 20$ per glass!View more
Très déçu du service. Nous avons attendu plus de 50 mins avant de recevoir notre nourriture. De plus, la nourriture n'est pas à la hauteur des attentes. Très déçue, car l'endroit est très beau!View more
Super nice restaurant just a liiiiittttle on the too loud side. The trees & lights are gorgeous. But it's extremely loud inside. There is a wait on weekends but it's not horrible. The food was very very good! We had the pigeon special sandwich & the grilled veggie halloumi sandwich ( I changed the bread to a challah roll & added the Caesar salad for $3. Super tasty!!! To sum up. Super pretty inside. Almost like you're outdoors! Good very tasty. We will go back but on a weekday when it's less busy & loud.View more

Super cute place, fun vibe. Pleasant enough staff. My dining companion ordered the matzoh ball soup, which she had never had. After her first bite of matzoh said she didn't like the strong bitter taste. i said, it's not supposed to taste bitter. I tried a bite of matzoh & it was awful, nothing like any i've ever had. Tasted rancid. We told the waiter & it was removed from our bill. Other dishes we ordered were waffle fries (they tasted just like the frozen ones we buy at home)& the Shakshouka, which was good but not outstanding. Later, when my companion was still burping up that nasty matzoh, we followed up to make sure the waiter had told the kitchen about it (he had said something about not everything is to everyone's liking). He said they were taking it off the menu because this was the *second* complaint. i wish they'd tasted it after the first complaint. Honestly it ruined our dinner. Companion still burping up rancid matzoh. Too bad because it's a nice place. Not sure i'd go back.View more
After one moderately good lunch & one terrible dinner, I'm giving them 2 stars on food & 3 on service. I was served rancid matzo ball soup. It was as I was swallowing the first bite of the matzo ball that it hit me. Not a little off, totally rancid & spoiled. I'm now working through some impressive indigestion. The server was vague about it, then admitted at the very end that another customer had also complained. (!) "But it's beyond our control; we don't try the food every day." He obviously didn't charge me for the soup but left everything else on the bill & said something like "sorry the soup wasn't to your satisfaction." Um, wrong response to serving spoiled food. The decor is fun & well done. Everything else could use real improvement.
Lovely place for coffee & sweets, a bite to share or an evening out with a date or family or friendsView more
I've now hosted & attended various events at Pigeon Club Cafe, & am always happy with the outcome. Their food is amazing, & their staff is both welcoming & present to help in any way possible. Looking forward to going back for many more meals!View more
