A dash of corporate Montreal
Strange little spot that is doing its best to create a vibe. Looked cozy inside but didn't translate to the patio area outside although the plants & lights were decent. Menu was limiting for someone with dietary restrictions, service was fairly slow but super friendly & nice. Our server was quite kind but did bring out the wrong food but corrected it quickly.
The drinks are why the food score is so low- the mimosas were not mixed at all. It was a shot of cheap wine & then a glass of orange juice weighed down underneath. It was unpleasant I'm afraid. I would not go for a little morning mimosa brunch again.View more
Their food & drinks are not good at all. I ordered the tuna tartare which was fishy & plein & a matcha latte which tasted like medicine.
However service was good & the ambience is amazing!View more
Nice spot, friendly staff, drinks where poured well.View more
Fabulous place in the heart of downtown Montreal with great food, especially my favourite Mediterranean Chicken Bowl =)
Very nice staff & reasonable prices. Great decor inside & beautiful patio/terrasse outside during summer. Stop by for food or drinks if you're in downtown.View more
Ordered the Pigeon Sex, turns out it's a drink.View more
LOVE THIS PLACE! The atmosphere, the food, the music, the drinks… so good! I've been a few times & have never been disappointed by this place. At first I was very confused but the barista with the red hair (maria i believe) but she was so helpful & made me the BEST caramel latte i've had in montreal. 10/10 would recommend!View more
The food was delicious & service was good. I had the merguez shakshuka at the recommendation of the server & it was fantastic, just spicy enough, the pine nuts & pomegranate were fresh & had a nice crunch, the tahini was very flavorful, the egg yolks were moderately runny which is perfect for shakshuka, & the stewed tomatoes were fresh & bright tasting. Overall the ingredients were very good quality & preparation was very good. 8/10 I also had an Americano, which was decent, about 7/10, although it had a slight burnt taste. Contra other reviews, service was very good for my Monday lunch. A hostess noticed me with 10 seconds, walked over, & seated me. She seemed busy, so after I put my menu down to show I was ready, I made eye contact with the bartender/barista & he jumped in to take my food & drink order. Every server was friendly & helpful. The food was just the right portion & the price was what I expect for the very central & busy location & chic, vibey interior. I am a pretty tough reviewer, but I think this place deserves a solid 4.1, 4.2.View more

We had a great Sunday brunch at 10 AM. Super loved the ambience plus the slow Sunday feels. The servers were friendly & polite. The food is amazing! I especially loved their'The Pigeon Special,' I wish I can have it three times a week! It was well seasoned & the mustard sauce blends all the meats together. Definitely recommend 15/10! Where we thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich, the shakshuka was another story. Don't get me wrong, it's also good. I just wished they put one or two more eggs. The tomatoes were ripe & perfectly seasoned. The mocha coffee was 5/5 good! Will order it again. The matcha latte, although refreshing, was a bit too milky for my taste. The ambience is just perfect for a get together over good food & drinks. :):):)View more

I really wanted to like it.. I could have lived with the lengthly time to get serviced & mediocre drinks (we had sangria & aperol spritz) & the super loud music. But not the gross hair in my food & no apology. I ordered a grilled veggie sandwich chicken took a while to bring out & I thought they forgot about it. It finally arrived & the sandwich was split in half. The first half was tasty but once I picked up the second half & saw a very long black hair, (I'm blond & my friend has very short hair) I set it aside & tried hard not to gag. The server eventually took it back to the kitchen only to return with a bill & no apology. They deducted half of the cost of the sandwich:/ Sure, I ate half of it but they could have been a little apologetic about the nasty surprise. Nope. Hardly an acknowledgment.View more

i visited this lovely cafe in hopes to find a place with good drink & amazing customer service & that's exactly what i found. the workers especially sofia & maria, are all very nice & will give you good recommendations if needed. the store itself is very aesthetic & cute. the decorations make the area so cozy. the food is absolutely delicious & they have many option for people with food restrictions. i would recommend going here if you're looking for a place to brunch with friends or even just to grab a quick drink.View more
This place is great for breakfast/brunch or an afternoon cocktail. The atmosphere is soo cute & bright. The food is delicious & the drinks feel very fancy. I had a great meal hereView more
We asked what their recommendations are & were told their lox dishes are what they are known for, but also their Mediterranean toast is really good. & so we proceeded to order their recommendations, plus a mimosa & an iced espresso drink. & I'm so glad we did! The Mediterranean toast was an explosion of texture & flavours with their avocado spread, goat cheese, greens, chickpeas, radish & more! The smoked salmon toast with a poached egg was also delish, although the egg was a bit overcooked. The mimosa was made with freshly squeezed orange juice (at least I think it is). The interior is cute, very tropical with trees inside. I give Pigeon Cafe a thumbs up & it will be on rotation when in Montreal!View more
This is my go-to place wether it's after work, for brunch or to have some drinks, it's so good! The service is amazing, Tennessy in particular, & the bartenders make the best drinks & are super nice, especially Lindsey & Alix :) I usually order the pigeon salad/ Penne Alla Gigi & nutella cookie for a snack, but honestly everything is amazing. I would most definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to have a good time, this place is a must!!View more
One of the best cafes in downtown has a great atmosphere, amazing food, & cute decor. I've visited this location multiple times, & every time, their food & desserts were fresh & super tasty. I love the coffee & drink selection as well. I've also been to other locations, &, hands down, they always deliver great service.View more
Service was very slow, there was no cutlery at the table & it took ages to get food & drinks; however the servers was quite kind & understanding of our frustration, still it was disappointing how slow it was.View more

Incredible staff & service, delicious food, & extremely accommodating. By far one of the best Montreal spots to get brunch, dinner, drinks, & anything else!!View more
Big thanks to the manager Lee Orland for ensuring a seamless business breakfast for my Director General & a guest. My executive is a vegetarian & caffeine free, fortunately the variety on the menu for food & drink alternatives were plentiful, & most importantly delicious! Positive reviews on the avocado toast & freshly squeezed orange juice! Great service as well given an early reservation of 8am. Very modern space too, & great location, walking distance to our office. Would recommend!View more
super nice cafe! please, with me as your sacrifice, dont ever get the french toast casserole. The staff were super nice, music was good, vibes were great. Admittedly I had no idea what a casserole tastes like but i didn't know it meant eating soggy bread & egg for 19$. This is like a 5 year old's first attempt at french toast. I could fry you a soggy french toast for fre. I WOULD feed this to my worst enemy. No fault of the kitchen everything was cooked, I just didnt know i could drink bread. I'm sure the savoury food options are great, & the food portions are pretty big!View more
