Very underwhelming experience. I love the coffee at Pigeon Café on De Maisonneuve, so I came here for brunch.
I ordered an Americano but was served filter coffee with grounds floating in the mug. It was messy, with drips all around the outside like it hadn't been wiped. My partner's mug was cracked along the side.
Our order was taken by one person & brought by another, who spilled coffee on the table, no one came to clean it, & we weren't even offered napkins.
I ordered the classic Shakshuka, which came with a hair in it. They brought another one, but it tasted off & I'm not convinced it was a fresh plate.
Staff were refilling coffee at other tables, but I never got the cream I had requested twice for the refill of my second coffee.
My partner still left a good tip despite everything.
When she mentioned thr hair to the staff, the apology felt more like a brush-off than genuine concern. They clearly saw I didn't eat the meal.
Poor service, disappointing food. There are definitely better places to spend your money.View more

Had a delicious brunch at Pigeon cafe!! We got the smoked salmon tower for 2 & the shoey's breakfast bagel, all very delicious & filling. It's not the cheapest but I do think it was worth the quality of the food.
The atmosphere of this cafe was also wonderful, especially on a cold day it was nice to be surrounded by plants & the beautiful decor.View more

Stopped by for a quick brunch before heading back to uni, & I was pleasantly surprised by the food. My friend & I shared the croissant sandwich & the eggs Benedict. The croissant was phenomenal-crispy, buttery, & filled with perfectly balanced ingredients. Special mention to the salami, which was incredibly flavorful. The eggs Benedict were spot-on, cooked to perfection, though I found it a bit disappointing that they were served on such a large plate without a side (a small salad would have made the presentation feel less empty).
The iced lattes also hit the spot-I'm a big fan of their maple latte & usually grab one to go. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this café if you're near McGill & looking for a quick, satisfying bite!View more

We had a great Sunday brunch at 10 AM. Super loved the ambience plus the slow Sunday feels. The servers were friendly & polite. The food is amazing! I especially loved their'The Pigeon Special,' I wish I can have it three times a week! It was well seasoned & the mustard sauce blends all the meats together. Definitely recommend 15/10! Where we thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich, the shakshuka was another story. Don't get me wrong, it's also good. I just wished they put one or two more eggs. The tomatoes were ripe & perfectly seasoned. The mocha coffee was 5/5 good! Will order it again. The matcha latte, although refreshing, was a bit too milky for my taste. I had brunch here, & the outdoor seating area in July is incredible. The menu offers great options for those looking to eat healthily. The food tasted clean & fresh. I got a Mediterranean toast which was my favorite, super light, the beet hummus toast was well. Did not have coffee here's just an expresso so I can not judge that.View more

i visited this lovely cafe in hopes to find a place with good drink & amazing customer service & that's exactly what i found. the workers especially sofia & maria, are all very nice & will give you good recommendations if needed. the store itself is very aesthetic & cute. the decorations make the area so cozy. the food is absolutely delicious & they have many option for people with food restrictions. i would recommend going here if you're looking for a place to brunch with friends or even just to grab a quick drink.View more

Amazing service, super cosy atmosphere & exciting dishes 🔥 I love this place, perfect for a brunch especially with the terrasse in the summer. The shakshuka is outstanding, but my personal favorite menu item is the salmon tower (bagels with cream cheese, salmon & lots of toppings) Love their lattes & ice coffee. Always a good time! Had brunch. Eggs were perfectly done. Ordered gluten free bread & it was great. Bf had a bagel sandwich that was delicious we shared oatmeal for a sweet "dessert" & it was yummy! This is my go-to place wether it's after work, for brunch or to have some drinks, it's so good! The service is amazing, Tennessy in particular, & the bartenders make the best drinks & are super nice, especially Lindsey & Alix :) I usually order the pigeon salad/ Penne Alla Gigi & nutella cookie for a snack, but honestly everything is amazing. I would most definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to have a good time, this place is a must!!View more

I've been to the Pointe Claire Pigeon Café twice & absolutely loved it both times, so I was surprised & quite disappointed by the lack of consistency with this location! The meals were OK but definitely not nearly the same quality as the other one & were made quite differently. The menu organization & even some of the items were vastly different. Very strange that a franchise has such a difference between locations! If you're looking for a quick brunch/coffee then it's fine, but definitely not a great quality brunch spot.View more
