View more
I came here on the hunt for some veggies after a few days on the poutine diet - the vegetarian pho definitely delivered - it was delicious & packed full of veg & the staff were lovely too!View more
Pho soup was delicious & light! I appreciated the abundance of beef.View more
First time visiting from out of town. Overall was disappointed based on reviews read. Ordered 2 pho, bun bo hue, shrimp roll & shredded rolls. Pho was ok, bun bo hue was actually better than I thought! The basil was sparse & looked like insects bit the leaves. Pho soup was warm, not hot. The rolls were also meh. The washroom lived up to standards- disgusting & smelly. Walking out, overheard 2 young girls talking about good pho places. Told them this wasn't one of them! One girl said she was a local & this was the best pho. I told her how sorry I was for her! Get back to my hotel & see owner over charged me on the menu for wrong items - to make an extra $3-7? Rarely do I say this but would have rather eaten McDonald's. Eat at your own peril.View more
Good soup, good noodles, good meat. Essentially what you need for a great bowl of pho! Sure the atmosphere is lacking but as I always say; if the restaurant looks bad & has been in business for a while it just means they've put all their efforts in the food 🤗View more
I'm from Ottawa but my cousin suggested this restaurant for my weekend trip. The pho & rice wrap were good, had lots of flavour. The staff were very attentive & friendlyView more
They really deserve the highest rating among other pho restaurants in chinatown because I tried all of the phos & as a real asian trust me they really are the best! I brought my mom, my best friend, my boyfriend, even had my birthday dinner once here too😂 I always order their spring rolls as appetizer sometimes their papaya salad with shrimp & pork is very fresh too & the largest size bowl of their complete pho. Soup is tasty, so good especially in cold weather. My boyfriend had their grilled beef with vermicelli noodles & it was soooo good! Price is very affordable. A must try!View more

Our group came on a Friday lunch hour & it was quite easy to get seats. Upon looking at the menu, we knew the dishes were going to be quite traditional which we love. We ordered the Banh Xeo which was crispy & light. A few of us ordered the Bun Bo Hue, which had great flavor & a light spice. I did not come with the congealed blood but we requested it & he gave it to us to us on the house. We also ordered the Pho & we really enjoyed the soup. It was very spice forward in Star Anise, Clove & etc which we really enjoyed. The service was also amazing & very accommodating. Definitely a great alternative to two other popular Vietnamese restaurants down the block.View more
Very authentic Vietnamese restaurant with many different noodle soups & dishes! The servers speak Cantonese, Vietnamese, English & French, & they are very quick & attentive. The restaurant is located in a basement, & though it's not a fancy interior, the tables are very clean & set up with the classic hoisin & siracha, plus a second very spicy sauce. Complimentary tea is served once seated. I've been several times, & definitely recommend coming. The pho is well balanced & savoury, the bun bo hue is spicy & has a pleasant funky flavour from shrimp paste. The noodle soups are served with the proper accompaniments (ex. cabbage for bun bo hue). I also really enjoyed the banh canh cua & the tapioca noodles they used were the perfect texture. The banh xeo is light & crispy & the fish sauce they serve with it is saltier, which I much prefer over the overly diluted & sweet fish sauce elsewhere. Everything is balanced, flavourful & very well-priced for the portions.View more
Wow! Best pho I have ever eaten! The service was great & warm food came fast. All the dishes tasted truly authentic & fresh! Definitely recommend! Had a great time thereView more
The pho was very good. The beef was a little over cooked.View more
Great Pho restaurant. It's quiet & spacious, the lighting looks a bit like a cafeteria, but the food & service is great. They offer tea before your meal which is awesome. It's also clean. I would recommend this restaurant if you want Pho over the two others that are in the same area. One downside though, they don't take credit cards. Debit & cash only.View more
Food: it was pho, it was like others, a lot of msg & that, nothing spectacular, but the quantity is not enough for the pricing Service: Legit did the bare minimumView more
Delicious, authentic food with lots of options. Probably best pho I’ve ever had! Very friendly & great service. Suitable for gluten free, staff paid great attention to the dietary requirement.View more
Coup de cœur pour le numéro 8 & le numéro 33
Très bonne cuisine, très bon phôView more
The soup of the pho is hot enough that’s why the pho is good, I tried some pho with the soup not hot & it affected the total taste of the pho, the rare beef, the beef tendon & the beef balls are nicely cooked, but they don’t accept credit card which is a little inconvenient for a tourist.

Ordered the bun bo Hue & replaced it with pho noodles, as well as a tofu bun salad. Neither were subpar. The bo Hue had scant slices of beef & pork flank (while most other places in Montreal would serve an entire pork hock), the broth was bland & skimpy with herbs or onions. The tofu bun salad didn't fare better, containing no seasoning on the fried tofu & minimal herbs. The service was Chinatown-level acceptable, with the waiter accommodating my change in noodles & recommending the tofu replacement after asking my partner if he's vegetarian. Menu pics updated to display price s, which were standard. Would trek my way up to Villeray again.View more
