I have been here twice since April. Both times have been excellent. I really like that you can order half portions. They are really generous portions though. The half portion of calamari here is like a full portion in some other establishments. The calamari was lightly breaded, hot & crispy. The Greek salad was good, as was the tzatziki. The grilled octopus was the star of the show, tender & nicely charred. The first time I went it was not as good as it was bit undercooked & rubbery. Maybe a bad day in the kitchen? But, this time, perfection. The loup de mer was very tasty, The service was so fast, it almost felt like we were being rushed, but we took our time. The place was packed for a Friday night with groups & private party downstairs. Would definitely go back.
BYOB, Casual dining, Overall nice experience, Street parking can be a issue.
Great food , staff is top tier. Bring your own booze restaurant which is fantastic. Nice restaurant with good pricing.
Loved the place. Too delicious that I had to leave with my button popped open. Enough said. Lamb is tender & tastey.
Amazing restaurant! Food is great, friendly staff, reasonable prices for the quality. Feels like I'm back in Greece. Highly recommend
I had a business dinner with 25 guest at this place tonight, the food was amazing & the service was outstanding. Highly recommend. I will go back for my other events for sure.
I've been coming here for years, but I wouldn't call myself a regular. Whenever I bring guests who have never been, they're always very pleased. This was the case again last week. My companion & I were very happy with all our selections. We had the fried calamari & the zucchini chips for starters & the red snapper & lamb chops as our mains. Everything was served hot & fresh with portions so large we had to leave quite a bit on our plates. The lamb chops were the best I'd had in quite some time. Tender & succulent, & they were able to accommodate my preference for them to be served rare. Staff were friendly, as usual, but service was slower on this particular visit than normal. Nice that it's a BYOB with a corkage fee, but we weren't drinking that evening. Prices have risen steadily over the years, but that's the case almost everywhere. I would consider them competitive, especially given the portion sizes.
My family & I got some appetizers to share, including the skordalia (a dish that is kind of like mashed potatoes), saganaki (a fried cheese dish that you make by setting cheese on fire), & Greek salad. For the main course, I got the shrimp pasta & then for dessert, I got the baklava. Everything was delicious! Also, our waiter was super nice & had a great sense of humor, & I really like the decor of the restaurant as well!
Very good food & value for bring your own wine. A neighborhood classic & great place for fresh food. Terrace is nice in summer as well.
If this place calls them fine dining, it's simply not. The good quality is similar to pizza diner you find in Montreal that are not great but satisfy your bare minimum requirements. This resto is the same, it just satisfies bare minimum. The octopus tasted like chicken. Much better options out there with better quality octopus/food. This food was really, whatever!
I made a reservation for a big group for a surprise party. The staff was amazing, from reception to the waiters. We had great service & the food was delicious. I had the lam & it didn't disappoint.
Bring your own wine. No alcohol sales here. Perfectly fine but bring a bottle or two. Fantastic food, great people
I was very happy to find a Greek restaurant in the heart of Westmount. The food overall was good. Fried calamari portion was generous, Greek salad had fresh vegetables & authentic feta cheese (quite a challenge to find it in Montreal), shrimps in the main course were big & delicious. However, I was not happy with the sides of the shrimp dish, specifically carrot tasted horrible (as if its expired), potatos & rice on the same plate made no sense at all. The restaurant ambiance is amazing, rustic Greek decor & plates are very well picked. Cheers to the hostess at the entrance, what a lovely girl, so helpful & friendly!
I thought I could find more vegetarian options, but it was almost my only one. It was so delicious, but light meal.
Great food, big portions, reasonable prices, good service, very cute restaurant. Get the zucchinis & the octopus !
