This restaurant has such a cool, artistic energy that makes it an ideal spot for catching up with friends or having a casual dinner date. It doesn't feel rushed or loud; instead, the atmosphere invites you to linger & enjoy the unique surroundings. The menu is focused & executed brilliantly, specializing in the kind of comfort food that warms the soul. We shared several plates of dumplings, & each was better than the last. It's the kind of place where the environment actually enhances the taste of the food because you feel so at ease. I really appreciate how the owners have created a space that is as much about the social experience & artistic atmosphere as it is about the delicious Chinese snacks. It's a solid choice for a weekend hang or a midweek treat. A wonderful, cozy environment paired with top-notch dumplings makes this a five-star experience all around.
This is officially my new xiao long bao sanctuary in Montreal! Finding authentic, handcrafted dumplings can be a challenge, but this place nails the traditional flavors perfectly. Both the soup dumplings & the pan-fried ones taste just like what you'd find in a high-end shop in Asia-perfectly balanced, fresh, & incredibly juicy. The decor style is particularly impressive, successfully merging traditional Chinese elements with a sleek, modern aesthetic that feels very high-end. It has a certain'class' or'??' (style) without being pretentious. It's the kind of place that feels high-energy yet intimate at the same time. Whether you are a connoisseur of Chinese cuisine or a newcomer to the world of dim sum, the authenticity of the food combined with the stylish atmosphere makes this a top-tier destination. It's rare to find a place that balances food quality, traditional craftsmanship, & modern interior vibes so perfectly. This has quickly become my go-to recommendation for anyone visiting the city who wants a'real' taste of Chinese small bites.
The first thing that hits you when you walk into this restaurant is the striking & creative decor. It's visually stunning & has a real'wow' factor; every corner feels like it was handled by a professional designer with a keen eye for detail. It creates a modern, chic, & bright vibe that elevates the entire meal from a simple lunch to a full sensory experience. The food more than lives up to the beautiful surroundings. The xiao long bao were overflowing with rich, aromatic broth, & the fried dumplings were pan-seared to a perfect golden brown-crispy, savory, & completely addictive. I'd highly recommend this spot to anyone who appreciates traditional Chinese snacks served in a contemporary, stylish setting. It's a fantastic addition to the local food scene & a great place to introduce friends to the wonders of well-made dumplings. Whether you are there for the design or the dough, you are guaranteed to leave satisfied. It is a true standout in the neighborhood.
Had a pleasant meal at this Chinese restaurant. The food was tasty & served hot, with good portion sizes. The place was clean & the service was friendly !
We are looking for a place to eat after being on the plane for more than 10 hours, & this place definitely hit the spot! Even from Chinese standards, I will say the taste is pretty authentic & definitely high quality. You can taste the freshness since all dumplings are made freshly on the site. We especially like their lamb dumplings & cold dishes. The staff are also very friendly!
The xiao long bao & fried dumplings here are simply out of this world! You can really taste the handcrafted excellence in every single bite-the textures are perfect, & the seasonings are spot on. It's clear that the kitchen takes great pride in their work & uses high-quality ingredients. The restaurant itself is a masterclass in interior design, with every corner packed with thoughtful details that show just how much heart went into creating this space. It feels sophisticated yet approachable, like eating in a high-end boutique. We visited during the weekend peak hours & had to wait about 20 minutes for a table, but let me tell you, it was worth every single second. The staff managed the crowd efficiently, & once we were seated, the food arrived hot & fresh. If you're planning a weekend visit, I'd suggest coming a bit early to beat the rush, but even if there's a queue, hold your spot-you won't regret it! This is easily some of the best Chinese comfort food I've had in a long time.
I visited this Chinese restaurant & ordered the combo of fried dumplings with pork, shrimp, & scallops! It turned out to be really good! The flavors were rich & everything tasted freshly made. I finished the whole plate without hesitation !
Yum yum! Small place (let's call it cozy) but well worth the wait. Sometimes shared tables- make a friend! Food was super good. Being Chinese, we have high standards. This fit into the good category. I would return for comfort food in Montréal again.
We were so lucky to pass this little Chinese restaurant. The food was so delicious, we couldn't stop eating, & our stomachs were full & happy! Highly recommended! If you're looking for delicious & simple Chinese food, for sure you will find food to satisfy your taste buds here.
Cute & cozy Chinese eatery serving authentic fried dumplings, soup dumplings, & other traditional dishes. Yum!
