Used to be worth the long waiting time! Not anymore…the prices went up, the choices went down & the quality of the food REALLY dropped - & we still have to wait between one to two hours to be seated!! We will eat elsewhere, before coming to the casino from now on.
I was asked to provide more feedback beyond my one-star rating.
The mashed potatoes were made from an instant mix. At $58 per person, that felt insulting. The overall experience made us head straight home instead of spending time at the casino as we had planned.
Trop cher pour rien le vendredi.ambisnce usine bruyante.N'importe quel resto all you can eat moitié prix est mille fois mieux.
Excellent!
The staff were professional & courteous, the ambiance proved far more relaxing than anticipated. The buffet presented an impressive range of dishes, from cold appetizers to omelets prepared to order & Parisian crêpes made on demand. The dessert section was well garnished, the crème brûlée & the Paris?Brest were wonderful, a truly exquisite way to end the meal.
Way over priced for a buffet 160$ for 2 people with a beer & tip. We had one plate each with barely anything in our plates. The food quality is very poor & not fresh. Sushi tasted old & food was cold.Wasn't impressed with this restaurant. Will not be going back.
Disappointed, Saturday night buffet no longer the same. Price increased, no longer includes coffee or tea anymore, which we did not know. Been going for over 10 years, noticed many cutbacks. No more meat carving station, meat is already sliced & dry. Smoked salmon & shrimps changed, less quality & quantity available. Missing mashed potatoes, pilaf rice, pizza, BBQ ribs, etc. Less tasty options available, replaced with cheaper alternatives. New sushi section not good, too much vinegar in rice. Did not like the new Italian station. Too much pastas, cioppino wasn't good (tomato sauce tasted like it was directly from can, disgusting). We liked the new ice cream option (although very water based), but please bring back creme brulee or crepes Suzette. Desserts options are mediocre, quality keeps decreasing with them being just heavily sugar based. In all, bang for the buck is no longer there based on quality & quantity of options. Will not be returning anytime soon during the weekend evening option.
We enjoyed a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant with my spouse, where a beautiful table by the window offered a breathtaking view. The cuisine surpassed my expectations & the desserts were particularly outstanding. Even after a satisfying meal, I found myself wanting more. The staff provided courteous & attentive service, & although the prices were somewhat high, I felt it was a worthwhile indulgence.
It is amazing we still have a buffet inside the Casino, when in Las Vegas those were long gone. Prices are sparking all over, but Pavillon67 cost is still affordable. It's a little bid sad that between December 26th & 30th, there is no more sea food section, they used to have. Selection is a bit less, but the quality remain still very high for an all you can eat buffet.
Service was slow when we were there, but the restaurant was fully packed on December 28th 2025.
Facing new realities of 2025-2026, Pavillon67 is still a great place for what we paid. Commodities are good, parking is free, easy to find & just down at the basement levels. Restaurant service is not bad, polite & responsive, but clearly under staffed during Chrismas holidays.
Lobster bisque 🦞 was a drawback ... it was really bad, way too salty, missed some ingredients, not even closed to the best one I had. It may seat there hours before renewed. Better to withdraw it.
Plenty of dishes are still amazing, you have just to pick the right ones. The gourmand side is still there, just have to dig more. We still have 14-15 selections by the gourmet standard, which is not bad at all. I was surprised how fruits & vegetables were so fresh for a non vegan restaurant !
Desserts are on the top level, with a lot of products on the, high quality, tasty & delicate side.
All in all, that level of classy & gourmet buffet is rare to find nowadays in Montreal & surrounding areas.
A nice place to go, closed to the Montreal old port, with a somehow wallet friendly compare to the Montreal old port restaurant alternatives, & no parking spot to run endlessly after.
For the amount asked, we were very satisfied. The interior is classy & cozy with an upscale touch, & we can still find a nice number of gourmet dishes.
