This was my first experience with Pâtisserie Lawrence V., & it was excellent from start to finish. The ordering process & follow-ups were seamless, & the team was incredibly accommodating.
The custom cake was outstanding; a vanilla sponge layered with raspberry tart jam & pistachio Chantilly, finished with a dark chocolate ganache.
It was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, & absolutely delicious.
Very satisfied & highly recommended.
I find this place super underrated. It needs more recognition.
Everything was super delicious, beautifully presented.
They have so many choices of pastries, tarts, mousses, cakes & even some on display ready to buy for a last minute birthday or celebration.
I would definitely go back & try the other items I didn't have a chance to try yet.
The best bakery around! It's near impossible to walk past PLV & decide to go elsewhere. Countless hits on the menu, such as year-round classics like the best Pain aux Chocolate aux Amandes in the city (not exaggerating, you get more chocolate & almond than anywhere else), or new treats being thought up by the day, like the incredible Pistachio Raspberry tart (if you're reading this within the near future, try to get one of these ASAP). The owner & staff are very friendly to all & provide excellent service! Lawrence makes fantastic custom cakes for any occasion too. This is my favorite place in the neighbourhood to come visit! If you like sweet treats & having a smile on your face, PLV is the place!
I got this piece of art; it's far too beautiful to eat. The chocolate tastes amazing with all these different nutty flavour. It's truly wonderful.
Well overdue!! Amazing fresh pastries. Such great creations by Lawrence. The staff was extremely friendly & helpful. We were there this past Sunday. Their recommendation & how to keep the spanakopita in the fridge. Thank you very much. We'll be back soon
P.S. the earl grey yummy blue pastry & coffee bean tromp doeil was very flavorful.
Désolé pour les fautes d'orthographe 😅. Je viens de goûté leur trompe l'oeil pour un prix modeste de environ 15$ chaque, le produit est pas si gros. J'ai pris mangue & fraise. Le chocolats blanc est croquant parfait 👍, la mousse pareil. Je dirais que la garniture est pas top, c'est pas que la texture est imparfaite mais ça a pas le meme gout que ce que qui est attendu. Donc pour le prix c'est non. Pour gouter c'est pas pire mais une fois n'est pas coutumes. Donc ça rempli les critères de mangeable mais pas assez de qualité 🥲

j'aime le concept, mais a chaque fois que je donne une chance a cette patisserie via commande en ligne , tout est toujours TROP SUCRER. je peux pas croire que je sois la seule personne qui se rends compte de ça? j'ai essayé une multitude de produits differents a chaque fois, je depense toujours 80-100$ a chaque quelques mois pour redonner une chance, MAIS TOUJOURS TROP SUCRER. SVP FAITES QUELQUE CHOSE. C PAS NORMAL DE TOUT GACHER POUR UN TAUX DE SUCRE AUSSI ENORME. IMPOSSIBLE QUE JE SOIS LE SEUL.
Je suis énormément déçu & fâcher de cette commande jamais de ma vie je commande dans cette pâtisserie il ont pas d'honnêteté serieux je suis déçu j'ai commander par uber donc il ont profiter de la situation pour faire de l'argent car je pouvais juste apercevoir ma commande à l'arrivée de la livraison uber eat j'ai commandé 2 croissant a l'amande & puis un genre de feuilleté à l'amande également quand j'ai reçu la boîte elle étais bien belle selon moi avec une petite boucle & un message qui disait merci cest énormément sens honte faire cela car quand j'ai ouvert la boîte cetais brûlé cetais même pas mangeable serieux c'est deguelasse comment ya des personne pas honnête dans cette terre avec des commerce il ont essayé de cacher qu'il étais brûler avec du sucre de glaçage je suis sérieusement choqué car je suis enceinte & j'avais vraiment envie de mangé ça j'ai attendu 1 h pour recevoir cette poubelle prochaine fois soyez plus honnête!!!! Si vous voulez vous faire des clients Enplus de ça le feuilleté il goûter cru & à la farine ça m'a dégoûté serieux!!
The apple turnover is so good! Flakey buttery pastry & doesn't skimp on the fresh apple filling.
Ordered a custom heart-shaped Paris Brest for an important family event on October 4th, 2025. The cake was beautiful & tasted amazing! Couldn't recommend them enough (along with the key lime pie, an all-time favorite)!
Taste 100/10 Presentation 100/10 Experience eating the desserts 100/10 it does not get better than this. Also the owner is a very chill guy very very nice. I am a pretty healthy guy but these desserts were crazy the best desserts I have had in my life it is cray-z 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯

My husband & I recently visited Montreal from Washington, DC. Due to the weather & protests, we found ourselves spending the weekend in our hotel room. We binge-watched'Halloween Bakeshop' & completely fell in love with competitor & native Montrealer Lawrence Vourtzoumis, along with his creations! It felt both necessary & serendipitous to visit Patisserie Lawrence V., Lawrence's local patisserie.
PLV, is amazing-it strikes the perfect balance between a cozy neighborhood café & a glamorous, Hollywood boutique. Not only were the treats visually stunning & delicious, but the staff was also incredible & exceptionally friendly. I didn't catch the name of the lovely young woman with dark hair & glasses who worked the register, but she truly stood out. She took the time to share stories about the owner & his other location, which is 1.5 hours away, with my husband & two wonderful ladies we met while dining. These delightful women, both in their sixties, had been friends since childhood & were now traveling the world together. Our paths crossed at the patisserie, which beautifully reflects the welcoming, homey, & gregarious vibe of Patisserie Lawrence V. What a delightful & heartfelt establishment! Keep up the great work!

Ce soir, j'ai mangé le meilleur sandwich de ma vie! Le Sandwich aux tomates, pesto & burrata de chez Lawrence V est un délice!
La pâtisserie offre divers desserts délicieux & des viennoiseries. Il ne faut pas oublier les excellents cafés.
Il offre la confection de superbes gâteaux pour toutes les occasions.
Une visite chez Lawrence V, c'est l'adopté! Entre amis ou solo, ils vous accueilleront avec le sourire & passion!
