It felt like eating straight sugar rather than enjoying nice bakery items. Defeats the purpose of traditional baked goods.
Love the bakery, reasonably priced & an option for every kind of sugar or savory cravings
Little bakery offering a large range of treats.
They have trays & tongs at the entry. You grab those & then select your items. Bring your tray to the cash to pay. Tray & tongs are cleaned before they are put back out for use.
Prices seem pretty reasonable.
We were walking around Montreal's Chinatown when we spotted this awesome bakery, Patisserie Coco. It's definitely a haven for cake & pastry lovers! This bakery sells so many different kinds of delicious pastries & desserts too. They have breads, buns, puffs, cookies, biscuits, Swiss rolls, fruit cakes, steam cakes, muffins, flaky puff balls, green tea mochis, sponge cakes & many others. As for desserts, there's different varieties of cheesecakes, mousse, bubble tea, smoothies, milk tea & etc. We bought some bubble milk tea, coffee buns & cookies. They tasted absolutely fresh & delicious!
*Update: We were visiting Montreal & decided to stop by Pâtisserie Coco, our favourite bakery in Chinatown! We got the Egg Tarts, Coconut Twist, Cookies, Cake Roll, Nutella Twist, Brioche Buns, Preserved Egg Puff, Almond Strawberry Tarts, Tiramisu & numerous Bubble Teas (Brown Sugar, Taro Milk Tea, Matcha Brown Sugar, Peach Oolong Tea, Mango Green Tea etc). Everything tasted absolutely delicious!
Very busy bakery in the heart of Chinatown, very delicious & fresh items, place gets packed but lines move quick
Best bakery i ever seen, chaque fois je vais à Montréal je fais le détour !
CoCo Bakery (Chinatown)
This place is chock-full of Asian baked delights. If you think there's only one way to do a coconut bun, think again - they've got every kind imaginable here. Fillings range from fruit to whipped cream, custard, & who knows what else - all fresh & tempting. You grab a tray, pick your favourites, & bring them to the till where they package everything up neatly. Prices are extremely fair for what you get. A must-stop in Chinatown - awesome spot.
buy 6 items from the bakery to not get taxed so you can look like you know your stuff when in reality you just read my really insightful & informative review
(i really recommend this like meat roll thing thats in the heated rack its usually sold out)
Good bakery! Went four times on our trip. If you buy six or more, you don't get taxed.
It was a nice & clean bakery. What we chose was good, but not surprisingly great. Still, if you're looking for sweet & soft bread, it's definitely a good place to try.
The best patisserie in Chinatown with large variety of bakery goods. Prices reasonable
Cafe within Montreal chinatown. We tried bunch of bakery items, I liked the strawberry croissant.
