Fast & affordable dim sum. The texture & flavour isn't there.

The wontons were overly salty & the wonton soup was watery.

Beef & onion rice wasn't anything special.

Siu mai was still pink in the middle, hargao shrimp was on the dry side & so were the skins.

The staff were friendly & helpful but I wouldn't come back for the food.

Tout simplement une superbe découverte. La nourriture est vraiment excellente & fraîche, nous sommes très bien accueillis, il y a même de quoi manger sur place. Les prix sont corrects. Je recommande vraiment cet endroit & j'y retournerai sans hésiter pour les Bao.

The pastries & buns are so good. I would not recommend the right side with the hot food options - go somewhere else for congee & noodles. Limited seating, about 11 seats.

Price is great, the presentation & preparation of the buns is nice. The taste is good but not impressive. I would still try again but I would try to find something more flavored. The experience is good enough to go back overall!

Patisserie Bao Bao Dim Sum est une patisserie situee dans le Quartier Chinois de Montreal (pres du metro Place d'Armes ligne orange). Il vend du' Bubble Tea' de toutes sortes de saveurs, des pains au vapeur, des plats taiwanais, etc. Si jamais vous avez faim & vous cherchez qqchoses de rapide (sale & sucre) allez chez cette patisserie. I was so excited to go to this place & it did not disappoint. I got 3 buns. A bbq, green tea paste & a brown sugar red bean paste. I loved that they had so many options & with cute decorations. All of them were amazing. Best buns I've ever had! I also got a kiwi bubble tea which was delicious. I can't wait to come back & try more!

BBQ pork bun is a must try! Perfect dough & a generous amount of filling. The bun tasted very fresh & delicious. The quality of buns sold at other bakeries doesn't compare to here.
