Parma Café stands out as a cozy, friendly Italian spot near Montreal's Jean Talon Market, with reviews praising excellent coffee, delicious sandwiches, and attentive service. The space is described as open and comfortable, great for studying or writing, especially for those who bring books or laptops and appreciate a few plug sockets, while some visits note occasional slow service during busy times and the occasional variation in dish quality, yet the overall atmosphere, value, and welcoming staff keep it a reliable favorite for many.
Dropped in for a cappuccino. I was pleasantly surprised how nice this place was. I did not expect the coffee to audio be that exceptional, but it was! Next visit I hope to try some food.

Super expérience dans ce café. Le service est vraiment attentionné. J'étais en poussette & on m'a très bien accueillie, on m'a même aidée à m'installer. Les sandwiches étaient délicieux & le café parfait. Je recommande!
I paid almost $20 (with tax) for a chicken panini at Parma Café Jean talon & honestly, it was not worth it. The taste was very average - nothing special, & definitely not worth that price. I also left a $2 tip, but the person taking the order didn't seem pleased, maybe my tip was too small. That made the experience even more disappointing.
For $20, there are definitely much better options in town. I had higher expectations, but this place did not deliver. Looks impressive, but doesn't deliver.
Sorry. But I won't be visiting again.
When I have a day off & the National Library seems a little too much for me go to, this coffee shop is my number one choice location to write & think. Just a two-minute walk from the metro, next to Montreal's biggest farmers' market, & it offers a lot of space if you're someone who brings books & a laptop (they have plug sockets too!!!). Coffee is brewed awesomely, but the excellent service is what convinced me to be a repeat customer.
Stopped by Parma Café just for coffee & it hit the spot. Good quality, tasted fresh, & service was quick & friendly. Nothing fancy, just a solid, reliable cup. Would grab coffee here again.
Got the sandwich of the month & it's probably going to be a core memory. Truffle, honey, mushroom, arugula & prosciutto. That chef Jeff really knows his stuff. Compliments to the chef🤩
J'ai mangé ici plusieurs fois, c'est devenu un de mes endroits préférés parce que la nourriture est délicieuse & le service est excellent. Si vous cherchez un endroit agréable, c'est une très bonne option. Je le recommande fortement 😃
