sando(82) cafe(76) curry(59) matcha(56) sandwich(54) drink(53) coffee(50) music(48) vibe(48)classic cafe. Not per say the most preserved japanese, but they do things well. The cashiers usually aren't so polite, but the baristas focus on making things well. I'll post more pics later.View more
I recently visited OSMO X MARUSAN Café-Terrasse & had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, particularly the Karaage sandwich. The atmosphere is cozy & inviting, with a charming terrace for outdoor dining. The service was excellent, & finding a seat was easy despite the crowd. If you're looking for a good lunch experience in Montreal, this is a great option! ☕View more
Lovely space & design, it looks like a modern cafeteria & lots of space to study. Though they do limit your time to just 2 hours on their wifi. Would recommend getting their sandwich & doing some work while drinking a coffee. Got the egg sando sandwich which was nice though some sauce would have really given it more flavor.View more
Been here a couple times, always nice vibes, & food is tasty & super filling. Cannot resist getting their hojicha.View more
Will come back again! Ambience 💯 very industrial & edgy, dark & bright at the same time. Dark enough that's laptop friendly 💻 , bright enough that you get sky view from skylights ☀️ Ordered an iced matcha latte 🍵 to start the day fresh, wish it could be bitter but good enough. 4.5/5 I had katsu curry for lunch, the skin is a bit overcooked & feel heavy but the inside meat very juicy & tender. I was hoping more curry in the bowl. & the bowl has a chip at the edge that's actually dangerous for the hands. 4/5 Background music might be a bit loud in the morning, some rock music was playing, I guess they want it to feel more hippy. But it can get even louder when more people come in later in the afternoon. There's outdoor patio to sit but limited seats available. 2hr max wifi connection per user per day. Overall a good place to take a break or having a sprint work/study session. Very friendly staff. Will come back again to try out the sando. Total spending + tip: $27 Overall 5/5View more
- 30 minute wait for expensive sandwich - strangely passive aggressive staff member - loud music - dead rat outside hojicha latte was alrightView more
Awesome Sando & Karaage. Would definitely visit again. Great vibes.View more
Very simple & bad service, it is on for very young people but not very special for that priceView more
The cafe has a nice concept. I tried the famous Tamago Egg Sandwich & chicken sandwich & was quite impressed. The rice curry was not bad. I would probably return when visiting Montreal. Would definitely recommend to my friends to try this place out 🩷👍View more
My white chocolate hojicha didn't taste like white chocolate but overall it was very satisfying.View more
Si vous aimez les atmosphères « workspace » c'est le spot. Belle place pour prendre un matcha latte délicieux avec des amis. Le karaage Sando est mon go to bravo la team!View more
View more
I was excited to try the food here since I love Japanese curry, & the sandos looked so tasty in the pictures. I went & tried the katsu curry & the karaage sando. To be fair, the sando was alright. Not the most appetizing cut of the meat, but that may not be a problem for everyone. Now, the curry, however...putting the also unappealing cut of pork aside, the real issue was just how bland the curry was. One of the blandest things I've ever tasted. Absolutely not worth the trip or the money I spent. I've made curry with store-bought curry blocks that tasted way better. Seriously: go to any asian grocery store, buy a box of Glico brand curry blocks, & make your own curry rice at home. It's not that hard to make, & it'll be more flavourful by a mile. Service was good: the staff was polite & friendly. Not much else to say there. As for atmosphere, well, it's loud & not that welcoming. There's an outdoor area that's much quieter, but it's very...I don't know...dingy? It's not landscaped, it's kinda gloomy, the tables are just picnic tables. Though actually all the tables were taken so my friend & I sat at what looked like a defunct bar. Not my scene I guess so giving it a neutral 3-star.View more
Great coffee here & fulsome sando's. Authentic flavours too.View more
Trendy & busy, but ultimately the pork sando lacked seasoning.View more
This place is such a vibe for artistic/creative & hipster people. The decorations, the slight underground/cottage feel tucked away on a somewhat busy street. It's a total vibe. I came on a Thursday afternoon & they had the techno experimental music blasting. I ordered a chai latte with soy & decaf Americano...both were very good. The chai was somewhat local from New York & was well spiced & not so sugary which I like. They have some food options as well like sandwiches & vegan curry. Plenty of seating indoor & outdoor in their terrace & at some picnic tables. 2 hour limit on wifi to keep people from docking. Just such a great, aesthetically pleasing cafe! Only improvement would be for more attentive, patient service.View more
