Definitely a hip place. The kaarage sando & the katsu sando were delicious. Definitely recommend. We also enjoyed the sencha, & the yuzu lemonade. Although the to-go cups do not hold up. Within 15 mins, the cups were warping. Service was good, & they worked fast despite the line. My only complain is that the space is very loud & chaotic. It's a fun space to hangout & enjoy music, but it's not relaxing. They have their own decibel meter, which was consistently measuring at 80 decibels.View more

This is a great spot to go eat some Japanese inspired dishes as a snack or a full meal. Such a beautiful place. Tried the curry, the tamago sando, the katsu sando & the karaage. The bread was a little bit too sweet for my taste but was pretty balanced in the sandwiches overall. The katsu sando's piece of work was really though to eat, it did not seem to be tenderized in any way. The karaage was exceptional as was the curry.View more

What's not to love? The tamago sando is a thing of beauty. The strawberry sandwiches are delicious (weekends only). The hojicha latte is zen in a cup. Yes, it's somewhat pricey, but much cheaper than a flight to Japan. My only complaint would be that the space has been taken over by the laptop crowd who sit, one to a table, taking much of the available space.View more

Food is decent & it has a big portion but takes a while to make (it takes about 20min for a sandwich). If you're going to order the egg sando, add salmon & curry since the egg itself is too creamy (unless you like them that way). The atmosphere is nice, but music is loud (idk if that's supposed to be the vibe of the place)View more

Ce lieu très populaire, notamment auprès des étudiants qui viennent y étudier toute la journée, est souvent bondé. Je suis venue 2 fois &, à 2 reprises, j'ai eu de la difficulté à trouver une place convenable pour m'asseoir. Je précise également que la pièce est assez bruyante, ce qui peut déranger certaines personnes souhaitant se concentrer. Malgré cela, j'ai beaucoup aimé le latte hogicha ainsi que l'absence de frais supplémentaires pour les laits végétaux. J'aimerais revenir pour tester la nourriture qui a l'air très appétissante, que ce soit les curry & les sandos.View more

such a hidden gem! the place is kind of hard to locate if it's your first time since the entrance is not on the main street & some might get confused with where the doors are located. the food is DELICIOUS & comes in arguably big portions. i thought i would be able to finish a strawberry sando & a karaage curry but i was so wrong, it was so filling i felt sick afterwards (in a positive way). i really enjoyed my food but the pork curry had way too much meat & was kind of dry, i personally preferred the chicken. overall, the visit was amazing & unless you're a big eater, i'd recommend only ordering one item. only small complaint is that the dj music was very loud so if you're easily overstimulated, please bring headphones with you to cancel out the noise because when i say it was loud, i am not exaggerating, my ears genuinely hurt.View more

Atmosphere was really cool & I was really looking forward to visiting this place considering I'm Japanese & love tasting authentic Japanese cuisine. However my partner didn't receive his cappuccino (they forgot his order) after I paid & tipped. I ordered the egg Sando with salmon & in the middle of the sandwich they put WAY too much mayonnaise & it was also very bland. I ended up getting sick from the amount of mayo in the middle of the sandwich & left early.... Very disappointed as I had much higher expectations about this place.View more

Went there for late lunch (week-end). It was difficult to find free seats for 2 persons (lots of people studying/working with their laptops there). The food came out quite fast & the service was good. I feel like the tamago sando is a bit too hyped, recommended for those who never tried it. The taste was normal to what I expected. Correct, mangeable.. le saumon fumé a sauvé le sandwich. Les oeufs sortaient à chaque bouchée & le tout était sec à mon goût. Prochaine fois je prendrais le curry, une valeur sûre.View more
